Theme Myths & Folklore
The month of June is where the stories of old, the tales of great adventures and greater magic, and the legendary worlds arise from the depths to regale you. Mythic & Wildis a collection of stories about the myths, legends, and folklore of various cultures, all told from fantastical perspectives.
Within this anthology, we want stories that represent well-known and forgotten stories from any and all cultures. Mythologies, pantheons, and magical creatures of ancient civilizations and some familiar ones too are welcome. Deities, half-bloods, mythic races, as well as grand quests, fearsome battles of good and evil, and the rise and fall of heroes—combine these elements for the ultimate mythic and wild experience of wonder and triumph.
Raise your swords and pens to the heavens, find your golden apple, and sing a guardian beast to sleep. Let's tell a legendary tale for the generations to come!
Suggested Subgenres Mythological Fantasy, Fantasy Adventure, Historical Fantasy, High Fantasy Note: Other subgenres can be present as long as the story fits the theme.
