Overall Theme Shadows, Exploration, and Dark Enigmas
This anthology features stories dwelling on the dark side, full of shadows, doom, and enigmas to boot. We welcome stories about paths to the dark, even through one's Mind, as well as those who venture into the darkness of the world. Craft stories brimming with the wicked, the rabid, and the silently loud for the anthology, Whispers of Midnight Dreams.
Theme 1 Fantasy of the Mind
Craft a story with the Mind caught in between realms or situations with this theme set in a world of dreams, thoughts, and imagination.
Suggested subgenres: liminal fantasy, isekai fantasy, low fantasy, etc. Any are still welcome!
Theme 2 Paranormal Creature Features
Craft a story about the creatures strolling within the darkness, featuring them in tales of madness and mischief, all in the shadows.
Suggested subgenres: paranormal fantasy, urban fantasy, romance, etc. Any are still welcome!
Theme 3 Witches & Wishes
Craft a story featuring magical beings who grant wishes...for a price, set in a world where dreams are not for free and the roads to them are the least you expect.
Suggested subgenres: high fantasy, romance, magical realism, etc. Any are still welcome!
