Theme Occult Fantasy in Action
For the month of October, a beloved fantasy trope of all takes our feature by a cackling storm. Night of the Wickedis a collection of stories about the fearsome and magical world of witches.
Within this anthology, we want stories that tackle everything about them, from hidden spells and disturbing divinations to building covens and causing havoc. Tales featuring all things witches from across cultures and folklores are welcome. Sisterhood, betrayal, and the occasional murder—combine these elements into a sneaky story of the strange and the occult.
Brew a potion, turn your neighbor into a balding cat, and soar to the skies on your enchanted broom. Tonight, the wicked rises and reigns.
Suggested Subgenres Occult Fantasy, Dark Fantasy, Sword and Sorcery, Paranormal Fantasy Note: Other subgenres can be present as long as the story fits the theme.
