They sway to the beat of the music, body to body, hands on the air, jumping their barefeet off the sand, the night's getting deeper and they're growing bolder with alcohol in their system, talking and dancing the night away. They have gotten to know their team members over a short period of time. Maloi drags Colet to the dancefloor, they joined the lovebirds who are glued to each other the whole evening. Contrary to their commonsensical, random and nonstop banters, Jhoanna and Stacey are strangely acting sweet to each other tonight.

The final's MVP, however, is receiving too much attention from the team more than ever, and is concurrently stuck with the group of ladies who can't get their hands off to her arms or shoulders. She's trying her best to stay sociable with no means of being rud but they've been giving her drinks and she has drank a lot that feels like throwing up. She needs a breather.

A petite lady with bangs hold her wrist, pouting her red lips. “Where are you going? Aalis ka na?”

Mikha gently removes her hand away. “I'll go check my friends.”

The girl stood up. “I'll come with you.”

Mikha's forehead creases, starting to feel annoyed.

The girl added, chirpy. “You know, I want to meet your friends, cause who knows...” She flirtatiously play some strands of Mikha hair.

“Stop.” She said, her voice didn't hide her irritation. She walks away and heed no attention from the girl's who keeps calling her name.

Mikha didn't know where she's going. So, she kept walking. The breeze of the sea seems to clear her mind. She rolled the sleeves up to her elbows and undid two buttons just right above her chest.

“This feels a lot better.” She mumbles.

Mikha momentarily stop at a bijou tavern when she sees a familiar figure sitting nearby the counter. And before she knew it, her feet lead her inside.

“Ate Aiah?” Sambit niya.

Aiah looks up and met her eyes.

“Mikhs, what are you doing here?” Aiah softly asked. She didn't expect to see Mikha, especially when girls have kept her in their loops. Sabi niya.

“Thanks.” Mikha takes the seat across her. “Just taking a break. Napagod ako sa kanila.”

Mikha said it in a light tone na hindi mo agad mapapansin ang pagka-drain nito, but Aiah looks closely to Mikha's features, it would've been sweet to say that the red spot on Mikha's cheeks is from a blush, but they're not. The rasp in her voice also says the otherwise, that's not her normal voice.

Aiah concluded. She's drunk. “You want some water?” Hindi kaagad nakasagot si Mikha. “Sandali, kunan kita.”

The red haired girl watched her silently. It's probably just a simple gesture, but it made her feel special. There hasn't been anyone who takes care of her in a while — anyone she allowed, and that's just warms her stone cold heart.

Lasing nga talaga ako. She mentally laugh at herself.
