"The patio is a hit!" Courtney said happily.

"The drinks are coming out nicely too." Heather added proudly.

"You always have good ideas, Heather..." Scott told her.

"That's right." Heather raised her head smugly.

"We should assign someone to be in charge of the customers outside so there's always someone out there." Courtney said.

"Oh, I've already thought this through. Noah needs to work outisde. The sun will do him some good. Plus being seperated from Cody means Cody will work faster." Heather said.

"I don't think that's a good idea." Courtney said simply. "I think you should work outside, Heather."

"Me? Shouldn't I watch things over inside?"

"I'm already doing that. I'll cover inside and you can cover outside. Besides, you'll probably drive more customers in."

Scott nodded in agreement.

Heather flipped her hair dramatically. "Yeah, guess you're right..."

"Perfect. Noah can take care of the drinks, Cody the sweets, Gwen the counter... and Scott will take over when needed." Courtney decided.

"Yeah, that does sound about right." Heather agreed.

Noah stormed into the shop and went straight to the backroom.

Courtney widened her eyes in concern.

"No manners whatsoever..." Heather complained.

Cody walked in not long after, laughing and chatting on the phone.

"Yeah, I'll definitely be there! Oh, hey guys... gotta work now... okay... see you guys!" He turned off his phone and walked to the backroom.

Courtney frowned while Heather rolled her eyes.

Noah stormed out of the backroom and straight into the kitchen.

"Well, this is just great... we really can't have a moment of peace here..." Courtney complained before heading into the kitchen to check on Noah.

"Heather, tell me more of your great ideas..." Scott said once they were alone.

Heather smiled smugly.

"Which plant do you prefer?" Heather asked Noah.

"Why do you care about my opinion?"

"I don't. I was just wondering if you had an eye for these sorts of things."

He examined the two pictures and pointed to one. "This one is less ugly."

"Hm. You're pretty good. Surprisingly." Heather said.

"This doesn't mean I'm gonna design the shop or anything like that."

"Oh, no. But you'll be a backup. Courtney's not bad, but she has... particular taste..."

Noah rolled his eyes, not really caring.

Cody walked out of the kitchen.

"Heather, I finished all the orders."

"Good, you can take a break. See how much faster you work on your own?" She repeated.

"Would you stop saying that?" Noah said in annoyance.

Cody looked at him. "She's right, Noah! Normally we spend all day talking!"

Noah scowled. "And what's wrong with that??"

They both look at him in confusion.

"Are you okay, Noah?" Cody asked.
