Cody and Eva wolfed up and started chasing little animals around. Izzy laughed as she watched.

Noah walked alongside Izzy quietly.

"Eva's so hot when she's wolfed up!" Izzy commented casually.

Noah didn't say anything.

Izzy elbowed him. "Well? Don't you think Cody's hot too?"

"Uh, yeah..." He answered quietly.

"Come on, Noah. We might have been apart for years, but we can tell when you're sad." She told him. "Why the long face?" She snapped her fingers.

Noah's face elongated. "Change it back!"

Izzy giggled and snapped her fingers again, turning his face back to normal.

"I just... it feels weird being with you guys again." Noah admitted.

"Why? Everything's the same."

"Everything's not the same! I changed so much since then. Justin ruined my life... trusting people is so hard now."

"But... we're not people. We're your best friends!" Izzy reminded him.

Noah looked down in thought.

"It's not like we betrayed you, we were just forced apart. We still love you all the same."

"Maybe... but you guys also had each other. I was all alone."

"What about Cody?"

"I only started talking to Cody a few months ago..."

"I guess being alone can make things worse... brains love to make things up just to scare us, huh?" She laughed. "Brains are like mini elves stuck in our heads."

Noah scoffed and rolled his eyes.

Cody suddenly ran over to Noah with his tail wagging freely. He jumped into his arms and started licking his face.

Noah laughed softly and gently pushed him off. "What's going on?"

"I saw that you weren't smiling, so I wanted to change that..." Cody grinned.

Noah smiled at him.

Cody nuzzled his nose against Noah's nose.

"I love you." Cody said before running off again.

Noah smiled as he watched him.

Izzy elbowed Noah again.

"So, have you fed from Cody's blood yet?"

"No."

"What?? Seriously? You know what Zoey told me? She said feeding from someone you love makes the blood taste absolutely divine!"

"Divine..?" Noah repeated judgingly.

"Her words!" Izzy shrugged. "Yeah, she said that when she feeds from Mike, it tastes like heaven! And that if he switches mid-feed the blood actually starts tasting less good."

"Seriously?"

"It's what she said! I thought this was common vampire stuff, I dunno!" Izzy said casually.

"I... I haven't tried..." Noah said, considering it.

"Hey! You know what? Don't werewolves regenerate faster than humans?" She laughed loudly. "Yeah, I mean Eva can go on for hours, you know!"

"Uh... why are you telling me this...?"

"Oh- what I meant was... You could probably drink as much blood from Cody as you want! His blood will just keep coming and coming."
