        ~* Michael's Point of View *~

I walked back through the Gates, a new fire in my eyes. I was going to find Mrs. Jenson's guardian angel, and ask him what in the heck he was thinking. He couldn't be neglecting Mrs. Jenson......

I stormed down the street towards my house, feeling the golden pavement beneath my feet. The sound of my heavy footsteps pounded in my ears, along with the sound of little angel kids running around the brilliant green fields surrounding my little neighborhood.

I went into my house, and ran to grab my copy of the Angel Directory. The Angel Directory is pretty much a phone book of all the humans on earth, except without the phone numbers. Yea, it's a pretty thick book........ About half as tall as me, probably. It tells you which angel is assigned to them, along with where the angel lives.

I flipped through the pages, following the last names by alphabetical order. Finally, I reached J. There were so many last names that started with J....

I flipped through the pages for maybe an hour, until finally I found the last name 'Jenson.' And of course, there are about 5,000 people with the last name 'Jenson.'

After another 30 minutes of hard searching, I came across Mallory's name. Underneath, was her mother's name, Martha.

Mallory Jenson-

Angel: Michael Clifford

Since: Her birth

Angel Location: 309 Valley Street

~

Martha Jenson-

Angel: Derek Castler

Since: She was 2 yrs old

Angel Location: 421 Silver Lane

~

I wrote the angel's name and location on a small sheet of paper, and put it in my pocket. I walked out of my house, and looked around. Where was Silver Lane???

I had no sense of direction whatsoever. Back when I was alive on earth, I could barely find my own bathroom. How was I supposed to find one neighborhood out of millions?

I suddenly felt a tap on my leg. I turned around, and... I had to look down at the little angel in front of me. He had big brown eyes and curly blond hair. I knew the cheeky grin all too well. My littlest companion, Daniel. He had excitedly shown me around my neighborhood when I first got here. He was only 7 years old when he passed. He had lost a battle with Leukemia.
