Keith felt like he was in heaven. This was his version of Elysium. He'd found a gorgeous redhead who draped herself over him as they danced. She was wearing next to nothing. She had on a bra-like top made of lace. Her skirt was short and fell just below her ass. She lifted herself onto him, and he was delighted to see that she didn't have shorts underneath.
A waiter gracefully maneuvered through the dance floor, offering his fruit tray to the guests. Everyone he passed happily took a fruit and plopped it in their mouths while they danced. He made his way over to Keith and the redhead, whose name he hadn't learned yet. He really should ask her about that soon.
The waiter approached them and offered them a fruit from the tray. The redhead grabbed two fruits before waving the waiter away. She turned around before hand-feeding the fruit into Keith's mouth. He took the fruit in one bite and nipped her finger.
"Ouch," she pouted slightly before sucking on her finger.
"Sorry," he apologized to her.
"You have to let me get payback," she insisted.
"How?" he asked, raising his brow.
She handed him her fruit. "Feed this to me," she commanded.
He happily obliged. He held the fruit to her mouth, and her lips closed around his finger as she took it. She purposefully bit his finger when she chewed. He pulled his finger away and rubbed it slightly.
"That did hurt," he frowned. He was sure she had bitten him way harder than he had bitten her.
She stuck her tongue out at him in response. Before Keith could think of a response, he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked over to see Josh. Josh had unbuttoned his shirt and revealed a strong body that would definitely attract attention. Keith tried not to stare. Josh was so closed off a lot of the time, and Keith found it to be a waste. If he had the height and body of Josh... He'd be a true menace, much worse than he already was.
"Have you seen Jasmine?" Josh asked nervously. "I saw Rose and Ban together earlier, but I can't find Jasmine."
"I'm sure she's fine," Keith responded while nodding his head towards the redhead who had been occupying his time. Josh was being a bit of a cockblock right now, and he wanted him to take a hike... With love, of course.
Josh seemed to either not catch on to the hint or ignore it. He didn't even spare Keith's date a glance.
"I'm not so sure," Josh argued as he crossed his arms. "It's not like her to go off by herself."
"Jasmine is literally the demigod of the sea and earthquakes. I'm sure wherever she's at, she'll be more than fine. I pity anyone who messes with her." Keith tried his best to reassure his friend.
"I still think we should look for her," Josh showed no signs of relenting.
Keith sighed before turning toward his date, who seemed to be getting more bored by the second. She picked at her nails before glancing up at Keith.
"I gotta go." It pained him to say it.
She shrugged her shoulders nonchalantly. "Your loss."
She walked away, and Keith felt his disappointment grow as he watched her approach another guy and begin dancing with him. He turned his attention back to Josh.
"You're heartless," Keith sighed.
Josh finally looked at the redhead and then back at Keith. He rolled his eyes when he finally connected the dots. "I think finding Jasmine is more important than whatever your plans were with that girl," Josh lectured.
