" And when it does, the Inquisition shall stand ready." For now I head to meet with my love. For I have received...word, That he heads to Denerim, our place where we were set to meet after his return. Perhaps I have been apart from him too long, oh he shall be able to tell, won't he be ever so glad with himself. Inquisitor I leave this journal to you as a reminder of what has been and what will be. I do hope events shall not intertwine us again, however only time shall tell. -Morrigan. " The journal read, The Inquisitor setting the small leather bound book down.

"I wish you well Morrigan." He muttered to himself, looking around his empty quarters. This had been the dozenth time he had read her journal, for it had been six months since the inquisition had brought down Corypheus. Perhaps he read for nostalgia, or for the brief mentions of Cassandra. Despite the hell it all had been in some ways he preferred it to this. He missed having a go, he missed the heat of battle beside friends, and most importantly, he missed falling in love.

Only Iron Bull, Dorian and Cole remained in Skyhold after the events of the past year. Blackwall had went to meet with the Grey Wardens however no one had heard from him since he had left. Sera had returned to her 'fun' and was once more a Red Jenny. Varric had returned to Kirkwall, having letters sent to Skyhold with updates on his doings. Vivienne had returned home with little word of why. Solas had seemingly vanished after the fight with Corypheus, even Leliana's scouts having no word on his condition. Lady Cassandra was now Divine Victoria, and was forced away.

The Inquisitor stood from his bed, stepping out into the halls of Skyhold, the morning light shining through the stained glass windows. He took a slow, deep breath of relaxation, only barely getting it out before a young scout girl of Leliana's rushed to him. "I-Inquisitor, L-Lady Leliana requested that y-you come to the War Room a-at once!" He gave the young girl a bit of a look, it wasn't the first time someone had acted like 'that' towards him. However like always he brushed it off, these things were only natural in a position of power. He nodded, and headed off to the War Room.

"Leliana what is it?" The Inquisitor asked, the table surrounded by Cullen, Leliana and Josephine.

"Sir, our scots have reported some Red Templar's in the Hinterlands near Redcliffe." Leliana gave a nod

"Well then send some of our soldiers, I'm sure they can deal with it." The Inquisitor ordered however was quickly cut off by Josephine.

"You see Lord Inquisitor, Divine Victoria is making a stop in Redcliffe to visit her 'people' we assumed perhaps you might like to go yourself to deal with the templars." They all gave their nods of approval.

"Well I suppose perhaps it would be best if I personally dealt with the Templars..." The Inquisitor mumbled slightly, earning a grin from Leliana.

Eight Hours Later

"My My I do hate all these damned gnats around! Piss off you stupid things!" Dorian yelled out a bit, earning a frown from Cole.

"It is a living creature, do not harm it. It simply wishes to...be." Cole spoke in a soft tone.

"Well then why doesn't it simply be somewhere else!" He once again yelled, earning a laugh from Iron Bull.

"It's a bug Dorian. How have you ever stood up in a fight if that bothers you?" Iron Bulled laughed out.

"All right, All right. Dorian dislikes bugs, shh I think I hear something." The Inquisitor muttered, a party of six Red Templars not far. "Bull deal with the two on the left, Cole take out the furthest right. Dorian and I shall confine the three in the center." He nodded.

Iron Bull charged ahead, sinking his battle axe into one of the Red Templar's, kicking the other onto the ground. Cole silently dissolved in the air, the furthest right being taken aback before death slid upon him, a dagger sunk into his back. Dorian and The Inquisitor made quick work with their magic of the three in the center. Before long the Red Templar's lay dead before them.

"Well that was Boring." Iron Bull muttered a bit.

"True as that may be we must head to Redcliffe. Personal...matters bring me there." The Inquisitor mumbled, earning quite the chuckle from Dorian.

"Right! You are here to see Lady Cassandra are you not? Perhaps you were hoping to 'disgrace' the divine by the oh so primitive act of f-!"

The Inquisitor quickly cut him short however "Dorian! I didn't come here simply for..."

"Fucking." Iron Bull nodded.

"No, No don't say such things." Cole frowned as he looked down.

"Have I ever told you how much I hate you all?" The Inquisitor said with a sigh of total defeat.

Before long they had arrived in Redcliffe Village. The sun beginning it's late afternoon descent. The Four entered the Chantry building, Divine Victoria speaking to members of Chantry. When her eyes drifted to meet his however she could hardly say another word before rushing to him.

"I...Inquisitor, What are you...I didn't." She muttered quite surprisedly, having not seen each other for so long.

"It is good to see you too Cassandra...Might we take this somewhere more private?" The Inquisitor murmured to her, earning a quick nod from her.

"My quarters for the evening are over there. Follow me." She nodded and gripped his hand, leading him.

"Oh just wonderful! Leave me to the Chantry while you two...--!" However a glare by Cassandra quickly cut him off.

As they held each other in their embrace, Cassandra muttered a bit "If you...Ended this I wouldn't blame you, I-I can't imagine how hard this..."

The Inquisitor shook his head before she could finish speaking "Despite all the hardships, I will go through this. For it is worth it all, I would never betray you Cassandra." He nodded.

"I...Good." She muttered a bit, looking up to him "You know we have all evening...I wouldn't mind catching up in the morning." She mumbled

"Then I suppose that means I shall let you be for the night, Divine." He grinned a bit

"I...Oh you know what I mean." She huffed out, as they collapsed onto the bed, intertwined in each other.
