The Kundrra mansion was filled with an air of anticipation as Karan walked into the living room, where Akshara, Naitik, and Prachi were waiting for him. His mother, Akshara, was the first to speak, concern evident in her voice.

"Karan, what happened at the lawyer's office?" she asked, looking at him expectantly.

Karan opened his mouth to answer, but before he could say anything, the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it," Prachi said quickly, getting up from her seat and hurrying to the door. She pulled it open and froze in surprise.

"Who's there, Prachi?" Akshara called out from the living room.

Prachi slowly stepped aside, and Tejasswi walked in like a diva, her suitcase rolling smoothly behind her. She was dressed elegantly, her confidence radiating off her in waves. A small, knowing smirk played on her lips as she stepped inside, completely unfazed by the stunned expressions around her.

Karan's eyes widened in shock, not expecting her to show up here like this.

"Tejasswi beta?" Akshara said, equally surprised.

Tejasswi turned to her and gave a sweet smile. "Yes, Maa?"

Naitik, who had been silent until now, stood up, looking at the suitcase in her hand. His eyes flickered with curiosity and excitement. "Beta, what's with the suitcase?" he asked.

Tejasswi glanced at Karan, tilting her head slightly. "Haven't you told them?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.

Karan exhaled sharply and shook his head, knowing full well what was coming next.

Tejasswi smirked, flipping her hair back before turning back to the family. "Well then, let me do the honors." She paused for dramatic effect before continuing. "For the next six months, I'll be living here as Karan Kundrra's wife."

Gasps filled the room. Akshara's face lit up with happiness, while Naitik looked at her with an amused yet proud expression. Prachi, on the other hand, was struggling to suppress her laughter at Karan's bewildered face.

"Wait... what?" Akshara asked, looking between Tejasswi and Karan.

"It's true, Maa," Tejasswi said, stepping closer to them. "Since our marriage is new, we have to stay together for six months before filing for divorce."

Naitik's lips twitched as he tried to hide his amusement. "Oh? And whose rule is that?"

Tejasswi grinned. "The lawyer's rule. Well, technically, the law's rule." she trailed off playfully.

Akshara turned to Karan, her eyes filled with newfound hope. "Is this true?"

Karan sighed and nodded reluctantly. "Yes, Maa. That's the condition."

Prachi burst out laughing. "Bhai, I can't believe this! You were all ready to push her away, and now she's moving in with you for six months. Wow, karma really is something."

Tejasswi smirked at Karan and crossed her arms. "Looks like you're stuck with me, Mr. Kundrra."

Karan narrowed his eyes at her but said nothing. He knew exactly what Tejasswi was up to, and if she thought she could win this game, she had another thing coming.

Akshara and Naitik, on the other hand, exchanged delighted glances. This arrangement, even if forced, gave them hope that their son and daughter-in-law might find their way back to each other.
