Hello everyone. Happy reading✨📖.

Karan gently dabbed the cool cloth on Tejasswi's forehead, his movements tender and slow. She sat on the edge of the bed, her eyes locked onto his face. He was focused-lips pressed together in concern, brows furrowed ever so slightly.

Tejasswi (softly): You know... you look really hot when you're in this 'concerned husband' mode.

Karan glanced at her, amused. "Oh yeah? Should I add that to my resume? Concerned Husband. Personal Nurse. Romantic Hero."

Tejasswi (smirking): And don't forget... 'Jaanleva smile waala pati'.

Karan leaned in closer, his face just a few inches from hers now. "You're fasting for me... tired, sleep-deprived... and still flirting?"

Tejasswi (whispering): Flirting with you gives me strength.

Karan chuckled softly, brushing a loose strand of hair behind her ear. "God, what have you done to me, Teju..."

She tilted her head, her eyes sparkling with affection. "I could ask you the same."

Karan slowly leaned forward, his forehead pressing gently against hers. One of his hands cradled her cheek, thumb caressing her skin. Her mehndi-laced hands rested on his chest carefully.

Karan (murmuring): You're the most beautiful thing that ever happened to me.

Tejasswi: Even with this tired face?

Karan: Especially with that. Real, raw, mine.

A soft blush crept onto her cheeks. Their lips brushed for a brief second, a feather-light kiss-gentle, lingering, meaningful.

When they pulled back slightly, Tejasswi leaned her head on his shoulder.

Tejasswi: Promise me you'll always love me like this?

Karan (wrapping his arms around her): Forever. Even when we're old and cranky, I'll still find new ways to fall for you.

She smiled into his neck, her heart swelling.

Tejasswi (playfully): Then you better start learning how to cook. Because I might make you keep the next Karwa Chauth too.

Karan laughed, kissed the top of her head, and whispered, "Deal."

The golden glow of twilight bathed the large hall as the men of the house gathered together, forming a casual circle near the center table. There were gift catalogs, online shopping tabs open on phones, and a lot of confused, whispering energy in the air.

Ranbir, lounging on the sofa, tossed popcorn into his mouth and looked around at the nervous men.

Ranbir (grinning): So, all my jiju log and papa log are stressed about what to gift their patnis and hone-wali patnis, huh?

Harsh (scrolling on his phone): This isn't stress. This is pressure. Aneri likes everything but nothing at the same time!

Karan (resting his chin on his palm): Teju is worse. She'll say, 'Don't get me anything,' but if I show up empty-handed-well, may the gods save me.

Everyone chuckled. Abhi, sitting with a calm smile, was already holding a neatly wrapped box.

Abhi: You boys take so much tension. I bought Pragya a silver chain with a lotus pendant. She loves simple things.

Naitik (nodding with a proud smile): And I got Akshara a saree in her favorite shade. Every year I give her something traditional, and she always keeps it like a treasure.
