Chapter 14 ~ getting there

Aria's POV:
I'm still attached to machine thing in the hospital, its making me feel all groggy :( .. I look around the room, no one is here, just me. I've felt so lonely recently.. Being hooked up onto these devices is certainly not helping me.
This room is so bare and boring that I feel like I am in an asylum.

I hear footsteps getting closer and someone comes through the room with two coffees, its Ezra! He comes through with a huge smile on his face.

"Hey" he grinned.

"Hey you!" I said cheerily.

"I brought you a coffee to cheer you up!" He said whilst passing me the coffee.

I smiled at him and he knew that meant in my terms 'thank you thank you thank you, love you so much'.

"So when am i going to get out of this asylum then?" I asked.

"They said they can discharge you in an hour or so.." Ezra said whilst taking a sip of his coffee.

"Why not now?" I laughed.

"Hey, I'm not a professional doctor you shouldn't be asking me that!" He winked.

"True, very true.." I giggled.

"Ooh! I almost forgot! I got you a little something.." He said whilst taking a little blue box out of his pocket, he handed it to me.

I opened in and saw a ring that had daisies all the way round the ring, on the inside bit of the ring, it had engraved on it. 'Aria + Ezra = Infinity ~ I love you xxx'

"Its a promise ring, that I promise we are for infinity," ezra said.

I squealed and hugged him and gave him a long passionate kiss. A nurse came through and we had to break the kiss.

"Excuse me, but you are now free to go," she said whilst unhooking me.

Me and Ezra both went to his car and started driving back to his apartment. I kept looking at the ring he gave me, it was so beautiful. He saw that i kept on admiring it.

"So you like then.." He chuckled.

"I don't like it, i love it, love it, love it, uh oh" i sang to the song on the radio 'i don't like it i love it' ..

We both laughed then i remembered about the girls.

"Oh my god, i forgot to ask!" I turned to him.

"Forgot to ask what..?" He said whilst trying to look at the road and me at the same time.

"How are the girls?!"

"Well, Emily is doing fine but she can't swim for a while as she has hurt her shoulder again, Hanna is absolutely fine. She is up on her feet again. And well Spencer...." He trailed off.

"Spencer..? Is she okay??!" I said.

"Spencer is having hallucinations and side effects of the drugs A gave her. She is in a bit of a state at the moment"

I sunk down into my chair, i just remembered that i got shot. I stared out the window and the image of when i got shot kept coming back into my head. Spencer screaming, it just kept coming back and back into my head. It wouldn't stop. Spencer's scream is haunting me. I put my hands over my ears and started screaming myself.

Ezra's POV:

We were listening to the car radio until Aria started screaming. I jumped and pulled over the car. She had her eyes shut, hands over her ears and was screaming.

"Aria, Aria! Can you hear me.." I shouted.

I put my arm around her and pull her in close, she started to come back and realise that it was only in her head. She had tears all down her cheeks, I wiped them away, just like i promised her i would. She snapped back into reality and said..

"I need to see Spencer.."

"Okay, when do you want to see her?" I said whilst rubbing her hand and looking her in the eye.

Aria's POV:

Ezra was looking me in the eye which in his terms means 'i love you'.

"Now if thats okay.." I said.

"Thats absolutely fine, can i come in with you?" He said.

Of Course he can, he doesn't even need to ask!

"Of Course you can." I smiled.
