Chapter 25 ~ I know..

{Aria's POV:}

My back was up against the locked door of the bathroom. My chin resting on my knees whilst hugging my legs, the cold on the granite bathroom floor was not helping me feel better at the slightest.

I could still hear them all bickering from down stairs and it just made me breakdown more. My eyes were red and puffy and tears streaming down my face. I could only make out a little bit of what they were still trying to say.

"You guys were so out of order.." Caleb shouted.

"I don't care, she had it coming to her anyway.." Hanna snapped.

"Hanna's right, Aria only messed things up whenever A was about.." Spencer replied back.

Ouch. That hurt coming from my best friend.

"Oh and also she was a little weak as she is small.. She didn't really fit in.." The voice sounded like Toby.

"Yeah, she always was getting her self into trouble and expected us to fix her mistakes. Basically its like we are walking on egg shells around her. Emily, you didn't do anything wrong.. Aria must have made you take a walk with her in a place we told her not to go. But you know, it's Aria, she never follows the strict rules..." Ezra stubbornly replied back.

Now that literally felt like someone stuck a knife in my heart and twisted it.

"Yeah.. I guess you're all right.." Emily solemnly said.

Emily? What? I thought she was on my side.

"For god sakes guys! That is so uncalled for! How can you sit there and throw Aria under the bus for something so small..." Caleb defended me.

I decided that enough was enough and  tip toed into my room and grabbed a rucksack and chucked some clothes and makeup and toiletries into my bag. I walked to the cabinet and grabbed my purse which was loaded with cash. I then grabbed my phone and its charger. I then lifted the pillow up on the bed and grabbed my notebook and a pen and started to write a letter to say that I was never going to come back.

Dear everyone,
I am writing this letter to explain you that I am not going to be returning. I have set off on my trek, not that you would care at all seeing as I am as i quote by Spencer and Ezra "Careless, Wreckless.." Don't bother looking for me because A probably already captured me. Not like you would be sad. Anyway getting to the point. You all broke my heart. Your mean words are trapped inside my head forever. They have burned into my soul. Its like they are going to be written on my stone. Reference by One Direction. All of you have shattered my heart. Caleb, you are the only one true friend I have left. Please don't think I am a bad friend because I am not coming back. You know I love you as a best friend. You have been amazing.
For the others, just don't bother any more I've given up.

I then wrote another note that was for Caleb and placed on his bedside table.
I sneaked out the backdoor and slid the note into the kitchen table that was addressed to everyone. No one had saw me yet. I looked at the clock and it said 5:27pm. I was currently on the outskirts of Rosewood still in Spencer's lake house. I then quietly opened the door and ran out and down the drive down the road and kept on running and running and running until I started walking. The nights would usually get dark at seven. I had an hour and a half before it was dark out. I started walking down the cold and empty road heading to New York.

{Caleb's POV:}

I had to sit here and listen to them say bitchy comments about Aria, my best friend. It disgusted me because I thought that they were her best friends.
And to think that she could probably hear all of what they were saying breaks my heart. I wanted to go up there and comfort her but if I did they would do something they would regret.
