"Annabeth, please listen to me. We really shouldn't go."
"Because one girl will flirt with you and end up with a few days in the hospital?"
"That's part of it."
"They're mortal."

"So are we."

"Only half."
"Your choice, I guess. Just remember that I told you no."

Then Beau came and sat on her desk. "Really, Percy? Telling her what not to do? What's your name sweet heart? Bet it's as pretty as you are."
"If you don't get away from us I'll kill you." She said, her glare more penetratingly than Percy's.
"Fiesty, I like it. You know, you're so hot it's like you just got out of Hell." He said, smiling. "Ow! What was that for?!"
"Percy, Annabeth, what's going on?" Asked Paul.
"Pau-Mr. Blowfish, I mean Blofis, he won't leave her alone and is, ahm, trying to break one of Piper's mom's favorite things. Annabeth kind of reacted out of habit."
''Annabeth, I'm going to give you a warning but next time it's the principle's office." He said but Annabeth knew he didn't mean it.
"Thanks, Mr. Blofis, I'll clean up my act. I'm sorry."
"It's fine, I'm surprised you haven't started on Odysseus already.
"We were discussing something." Beau went to his seat, obviously bored.
"Can you tell mom on your lunch break that we might not come right after school today?" Percy asked. "She doesn't like it when I'm on my phone during school."
"Sure thing, Perce," He said, "You might want to start packing up. Oh, the books are in Ancient Greek. Athena has a copy for everyone for me to substitute with English. The Romans have Latin. I better tell everyone else to pack up."
