"I found out who you were after you told me about your mother," I told him. "Technically, I can still write an article on you. I've learned some things about you in these past couple of weeks."

"Not anything worth writing about."

"So, tell me something worth writing about."

He frowned. "I don't want you to interview me."

"Why not?"

"I don't want my life publicized."

That was understandable. "What if I don't publicize it?" I asked. 

He met my eyes. "How do I know I can trust you?"

"You don't."
