The grand halls of the mansion were lively again as the maids hurried to prepare for the arrival of Grandma. The butler stood at the entrance, posture straight, while the staff lined up neatly, ready to welcome the returning elder of the house.

The grand double doors swung open, revealing Grandma, dressed elegantly despite her long journey. Her sharp eyes scanned the mansion's interior as she stepped inside, taking off her gloves and handing them to a maid.

"Welcome home, hwejangnim!" the butler greeted with a bow.

Grandma let out a tired sigh, nodding. "Ah, it's good to be back." She stretched her arms slightly before glancing at the butler with a knowing look.

"So? Did anything happen while I was away?"

The butler straightened. "Nothing unusual, hwejangnim. Miss Lisa has been working diligently and returning home immediately after work."

Grandma hummed, "Hmm... Maybe she's busy thinking about her wedding," she mused, but then, as if realizing something, she narrowed her eyes at the butler.

"Or..." She leaned in slightly.

"She's still thinking about Jennie."

The butler just offered a polite smile, not confirming nor denying anything.

Grandma sighed dramatically, sinking onto the couch. "Ah, my poor Lisa. She can pretend all she wants, but I know my granddaughter."

The butler hesitated for a moment before suddenly remembering something. "Oh! hwejangnim, speaking of Miss Jennie... she came by yesterday."

Grandma shot up so fast it startled the nearby maids.

"WHAT?!" she exclaimed, eyes wide with excitement. "Jennie was here?! she came back!! really!?!?"

The butler nodded. "Yes, hwejangnim."

Grandma clutched her chest in exaggeration. "My heart! Why wasn't I informed sooner?!"

Then, as if a light bulb lit up in her head, she gasped. "Wait! Does this mean—" She leaned in with hopeful eyes. "Did she stay in their bedroom?"

The butler blinked, caught off guard. "Uh... No, hwejangnim."

Grandma dramatically collapsed back into the couch. "Aish! What a waste of an opportunity!" She shook her head, clicking her tongue.

"If she had stayed the night, I bet Lisa would've tossed and turned in her bed, struggling with her feelings."

The butler cleared his throat. "Miss Jennie only stopped by to give you the present from Master Miller."

Grandma frowned slightly. "That's it? Nothing else?"

"She didn't stay long. Miss Rosé arrived shortly after, and Miss Jennie left."

Grandma gasped again, sitting up straight. "Oh-ho! And? Did they fight? Did they pull each other's hair?!"

The butler shook his head. "No, hwejangnim. They simply spoke to each other."

Grandma sighed in relief, then suddenly perked up. "Wait a minute... We have CCTV in every corner of this mansion right?"

The butler hesitated. "Uh, yes, hwejangnim...but, why?"

Grandma's face broke into a mischievous grin. "Perfect! I want to see my Jennie and what happened to the kids. Get me the footage!"

The butler opened his mouth, then closed it before bowing. "As you wish, hwejangnim." He quickly left for the security room.

While waiting, a maid approached Grandma, handing her a neatly wrapped box. "Hwejangnim, this is the gift Master Miller sent through Miss Jennie."
