"sorry we couldn't stay as long in saitama, i didn't expect to stay until six pm." y/n apologized, however iwaizumi insisted it was fine. he was well informed by their tight schedule and was content with just going to tokyo for their little vacation.
they were staying at a ryokan that y/n's grandparents and cousin owns, having two extra rooms for them to stay. the onsen provided was extremely relaxing to his overworked muscles and was grateful for the accommodation.
'her family has a lot of connections.. maybe that's also why she has so many friends. her networking skills as well as her kindness is insane.' he thought to himself.
on saturday, y/n showed him around the shrines and parks around before going to ikebukuro for the unique stores and food. after dropping off their stuff back at the ryokan, she surprised him by going to hibiya, also known as godzilla town, where they have a godzilla statue, godzilla-themed movie theatre and other godzilla themed areas.
"tooru-nii told me about your 'unhealthy' obsession, but these are just way too cool to not come by, right?" y/n chuckled as finishes her godzilla ramen.
safe to say, this was iwaizumi's favorite spot and was ultimately grateful that she showed him around.
