Theo raised an eyebrow at his sister. "You mean to tell me, that even though we have a chariot, you're wanting to race this hunk of junk?"
"Of course not," Silena chuckled, "This is for whatever poor soul irritates me."
"You're gonna charmspeak them to switch," Theo realized.
His sister smirked, "The power of suggestion is a powerful thing."
Theo laughed, "My bet is Hermes cabin."
Silena hummed, "I don't know, Douglas from cabin 4 has been testing his luck recently."
Theo found the referenced boy and narrowed his eyes at the grinning boy, "How so?"
Silena rested her arm around her little brother's neck, "Well, I heard from Mitchell that Lacy has a little admirer. That believes that persistence is necessary."
Theo's back straightened as he hummed, "Katie and Miranda know?"
Silena clicked her tongue as a wicked gleam appeared in her eyes, "Why do you think he's in the chariot?" She whispered.
Theo smirked, "42G?"
Silena nodded, "42G."
Over the school year, Theo had been briefed on the Aphrodite Cabin's Guide to Peace. Included in the ever growing book were how to guides for hairstyles, cooking, diplomacy tactics, and plans for revenge.
Plan 42G was designed for those with gardening talents or 'garden fairies' that Theo had yet to attempt.
"Douglas, Douglas, Douglas," Theo tsked.

Everything went wrong. Of course it did. Theo couldn't even enjoy watching the Demeter boy roll 20 feet away from his chariot Somewhere along the race track after half the competition had been removed, Theo heard an ear splitting screech.
Turning to the source of the sound, Theo watched as dozens of crows came sweeping down attacking each remaining chariot.
"Theo! Grab the shield!" Silena yelled while attempting to calm the horses.
Theo quickly did as told, blocking the sweeping birds from getting their beaks on flesh. Glancing up he saw Clarisse blissfully unaware of the chaos behind her and Percy and Annabeth veer off the track to the Big House.
He lurched forward as their wheel got caught by a rock, sending the Aphrodite siblings out of the chariot, onto the horses backs.
Theo blinked, "What the fu--"
"Theo!" Silena scolded as she blew her hair out her face. She was definitely going to kill Clarisse herself for messing with Theo's language.
Theo focused back up, twisting his body to cut the lines connecting them to the chariot.
Once they were free, he called Silena, "On you!"
Clicking her heels, Silena urged her horse, Sprinkles, on, Theo right behind her on Pebbles.
Percy made his way back to the track with a boombox, Theo simply choosing not to question his best friend's motives and immediately regretting it once Chiron's mixtape begins blaring. Bright side, it worked, the birds were leaving.
Leading their horses off the track, Silena and Theo trot their way to Clarisse, who just crossed the finish line to witness the wreckage behind her.
If Theo were a betting man, he would never put his money on him having a normal event where Percy was involved. This thought prompted him to make a mental note to ask if Mr. D ever partook in any camp bets.
