It was a normal day—or, as normal as it could be considering that they lived in a billionaire's mansion that was full of vigilantes, ex-assassins, and at least one demigod (they still weren't sure how 'godly' Cass' blood was). It had been just a casual day, Bruce spending most of the morning in his office before joining the rest of the Wayne kids and Barbra for lunch.
Dick had been absently listening to Tim and Damian bicker when Alfred walked in, wasting no time with pleasantries as he approached the table. "Master Nico, I believe it is imperative that you make your way down to the Cave, immediately."
Nico instantly looked confused, but, seeming to understand that Alfred never did something without reason, still stood up and began following the elderly man, the others quickly doing the same.
"Alfred, what's going on?" Jason asked as they all watched the man carefully glance around each doorway before signaling for Nico to follow.
They entered the study, the elderly man remaining silent as he opened the trap door. "Master Nico, please head down and return to your old holding room. I will be down in a few minutes with some food and your knitting supplies."
Nico's face turned from confusion to a blank mask as he nodded, following the instructions without question. He stepped into the elevator and the others watched him disappear from view as the doors closed.
Alfred, still ignoring them as they tried to ask what was going on, just walked out of the room and continued quickly down the hallway. He pushed the corner of one of the framed paintings on the wall of the hallway, revealing a computer screen. The man typed for a moment, eyes focused, before he visibly relaxed and let out a sigh.
"Good, the young lad is in the cell," Alfred said with a breath of relief.
"Why did you tell N-"
"Our guest is in there for a good reason," Alfred said, is eyes flashing with a look of warning. "We have some visitors."
The Waynes all shared a look as Babs instantly pulled out her phone, no doubt accessing the Manor's security system to see who was there. Instantly her eyes widened and she was quickly wheeling herself down the hallway towards the forward drawing room.
"Babs!" Dick called after her, the entire family quickly moving to catch up. "Who's here? Are we under attack or something?"
Babs just smiled as she pushed open the door to reveal a small group of teenagers who were standing awkwardly around the room. "There's my miracle worker!"
Will immediately turned around, a beaming smile on his face, as he walked over to the ginger, bending down to give her a quick hug as he said, "there's my favorite paraplegic!"
"I think you mean ex-paraplegic," Babs corrected as she moved further into the room, getting out of her wheelchair with the help of Will and moving to the couch. "Steph, do you mind running to my car to get my braces and crutches? I wanna show Will how well I'm doing."
Steph, though still in shock like the rest of the family, just nodded before stiffly walking out of the room.
Bruce quickly shook himself from his panicked shock and put on his classic Wayne Smile™️. "Will, Percy, it's great to see you again. What-uh... what brings you to town?"
Will was still chatting quietly with Babs, both of them ignoring everyone else, so Percy stepped forward and offered a half awkwardly/half genuine smile. "Damian talked to us about some training for himself and Cassandra and the possibility of them coming to visit us, but Mr. Brunner said that it might be safest to train them separately for the time being. He said something about risks and like... exposure?" It was clear he was trying to talk about demigod stuff without saying anything that would give it away.
