'...when you close your eyes, you can see the day rewind...' - I Will Return, Skylar Grey

Mitch slowly walked down the road to his destination, his feet dragging along the pavement and his leather jacket feeling heavy on his shoulders. An empty Starbucks cup in his hand and he could practically feel the dark clouds casting from behind, carrying rain and thunder.

The day was gloomy, just like he was feeling for the past few months. His written destination was the clinic. He was finally getting his test results back from his doctor to see what is wrong with him. But was he ready for what he was about to hear?

The weak brunette pushed the heavy glass door open and stepped inside before he got caught in the rain.

He walked up to the reception and set his arms on top of the high desk.

"I'm here for Doctor Harrison." Mitch spoke, his voice hoarse and his throat feeling dry.

"Can I take your name, please?" The redheaded woman behind the desk asked, typing into the computer in front of her.

"Yes, it's Mitch Grassi."

"Mitch Grassi as in Mitch from Pentatonix?" She asked, her green eyes wide through her wayfarer glasses that were resting on the bridge of her nose.

"Yes, that's me." He spoke quietly, looking around to see if anyone else was looking or listening.

"My son loves you, he said you inspire him and not be scared to come out to me. Would you mind if you could give me your autograph for him?"

"Yeah, sure." She handed him a photograph that was turned over so the actual picture wasn't showing.

Mitch asked the name of her son and scribbled down a message.

'To Austin,

Congratulations on finding out who you are and coming out to your mom.

Love, Mitch from PTX x

*insert Mitch Grassi autograph here*'

He slid the photograph over the counter and handed the pen back to Rachael, whose name he learned by reading the name tag.

"Thank you so much. He's going to be so happy. Doctor Harrison is ready for you to go in, it's the first door on you left when you turn down that hallway." She pointed over to a hallway.

Mitch mumbled a 'thank you' before going down the designated hallway. His mind floating and wandering to different places.

He thought of how he could make someone else happy, but not himself.

Before he realized, he was standing in front of the brown oak door, staring at the silver plate on the door with 'Dr. N. Harrison' engraved in it.

He knocked softly and waited for a response. The door opened and revealed a tall woman with long brown hair pulled into a high ponytail, blue eyes that reminded him of Scott.. Oh Scott... How Mitch missed his bestfriend, the bestfriend who was oblivious to him and his suffering.

"Mitch, are you okay?" Dr. Harrison repeated.

"Yes, sorry." Mitch quickly stepped inside and sat in the chair opposite the woman.

She sat down in her swirly office chair and typed something into the computer.

"So, Mitch, I have your results back. Are you ready to hear them?" She asked, unsure how the small twenty-two year old man would react.

"Yes, I am." He replied, afraid of what he was about to hear.

"You have been diagnosed with anorexia and depression."

The brunette's glassy eyes looked down for a moment but looked back up at Dr Harrison again, forcing out a fake smile.

"Thanks Doctor." He said meekly.

"Wait Mitch.. You need your medicat--"

Mitch quickly cut the brown haired woman off, "No. I don't want to be treated as a hopeless case. I can take care of myself.. Thanks though.."

Dr Harrison's mouth opened to respond to what her 'patient' said but alas she couldn't.

"Goodbye, Miss Harrison." Mitch said and nodded toward the doctor.

"Bye.. Mitch.." She called back..
