As Abhimanyu and I stepped forward to greet the family, the warmth in their eyes made my heart swell. It was still surreal, being a part of this family, feeling so accepted, so… loved.

Just as we settled in, Reyansh, Abhimanyu’s younger brother, spoke up in his usual dramatic tone.

"Bas in dono ke liye puja karvayi jaa rahi hai! Aur mere liye ek ladki tak nahi dhoondh sakte ho?" (So, you all are arranging a puja just for them! And no one can even find a girl for me?)

The entire family laughed at his words, but before anyone could tease him further, Dadi smiled knowingly.

"Arey beta, iske liye bhi hum baat karne wale hain. Jaldi ladkiyon ke rishtay aayenge." (Oh dear, we were about to discuss this too. Soon, the proposals will start coming.)

For a moment, Reyansh's eyes widened with excitement. The idea of marriage clearly thrilled him. Unlike most men who hesitated at the thought of commitment, Reyansh had always been eager to settle down.

I watched as his expression softened, his lips curving into a dreamy smile.

"Mujhe toh hamesha se shaadi ka shauk tha. Mujhe best husband banna hai, best father banna hai." (I've always been fond of marriage. I want to be the best husband, the best father.)

The way he said it… it wasn’t just words. He truly meant it.

His voice dropped to a romantic tone as he continued, completely lost in his own world.

"Meri wife duniya ki sabse acchi ladki hogi. Main usko itna pyaar dunga ki vo duniya ki sabse lucky ladki ban jaaye. Main apni shaadi ka hamesha se intezaar kar raha hoon." (My wife will be the best girl in the world. I’ll love her so much that she’ll feel like the luckiest girl alive. I’ve always waited for my marriage.)

I couldn’t help but smile softly.

He sounded crazy… but in the most beautiful way.

There was something so pure about Reyansh, something so genuine. Most men feared responsibilities—but he embraced them. He wanted love, he wanted a family, and he wasn’t afraid to say it.

I silently prayed, "I hope he gets a girl who loves him like crazy because he deserves it. He truly does."

Because Reyansh wasn’t just a good man—he was a man with a golden heart.

The whole family laughed at his dreamy confessions, but I could see that deep down, they admired his sincerity. Even Abhimanyu smirked, shaking his head at his little brother’s antics.

After some more lighthearted teasing, it was finally time to leave.

The air was filled with excitement, with the warmth of family, of love.
