Narcissa and Draco were talking in low whispers when I woke up.
"...........keep her safe."
"He's coming."
"What's going on?" I asked.

Immediately they had smiles plastered on their faces. "Emmeline, darling, how are you?!" Narcissa said.
"A little nauseous actually." I replied.
"Draco was just telling me about the horrible soup he made. Luckily, chicken soup is my specialty. I'll have you feeling right as rain in no time."
"Thank you,Cissy. I don't know what we would do without you."

She got to work bustling around the kitchen. I turned to Draco and said "What's going on? What are you not telling me?"
"Father is extremely angry about our little trick the other day. Mother and I were just discussing where the safest place would be."

I opened my mouth to respond but ended up puking instead. Draco was instantly by my side craddling my head and asking what was wrong. I couldn't open my mouth  for fear of puking again. Narcissa was looking at me like she knew what was wrong; I only hoped she and I were not thinking the same thing and that Draco didn't pick up on it. I was glad he had not gotten far in his Healer training.

The room seemed to be burning hot and spinning. I was nauseous and felt like crying for some unkown reason. Narcissa seemed to pick up on all of this.
"Draco, why don't you leave Emmeline with me for a few days to get some rest while you go take care of her family?"
"I couldn't possibly leave! Em needs me." He cried. "If father finds you, you won't stand a chance. I am a Healer, I should be with my wife."
"Draco Lucius Malfoy I am perfectly capable of protecting myself from your father. And you are only a Healer in training. I know the perfect remedy for your wife's ailment. The best thing you can do for her is to ensure her family's protection."

He looked at me to see if I agreed. "Cissy can take care of me." I said.

"Alright. If anything happens, anything at all, send for me and I will return here instantly. " He said.
"I love you."

He kissed my forehead. "And I you."

There were tears in his eyes as he turned on the spot and Disapparated. Narcissa stayed quiet as she used her wand to clean up the sick. I suddenly felt exhausted and collapsed onto the pillow.
"Thank you." I said weakly.
"Well I know you would prefer your own mother in this situation but I hope that I can suffice." She replied.
"You've always been so good to me."

She smiled and went about making the soup. "Draco is a good boy. If it wasn't for you I don't know where he would be but it would certainly not be good."
"If I hadn't met him I would be in a bad place."
"You saved each other. Together you broke the chains of limitation set on you by your own family and society. You proved that things are not always as they appear. "
"I'm just sorry that I put so many people in danger."
"Everything will turn out all right in the end. I promise. Now eat up."
"It smells wonderful."

I took a big slurp of the broth and warmth spread through me. Strength I hadn't had in days suddenly appeared. "This is wonderful. I haven't felt this good in weeks."
"The magic of food. Except minus the magic." Narcissa laughed.

After several days of rest and a whole lot of soup,I was back to my old self. Except for the constant nausea that never seemed to go away. Draco had sent word that my family had been safely relocated and Harry and Ginny were keeping an eye on them. Aunt Sable had been placed in St. Mungo's to under go a C-section. He said he would be back shortly and everything would be okay. But it wasn't.
