I glared behind me at Lagos, who had decided to tag along on our training journey after our little dispute, claiming that 'he could be of use'.

What a fool.

Continuing to glare discreetly behind me, I signalled to the other by making butterfly wings with my hands. Nodding their heads, we all suddenly flew up with a large gust of wind, with dark wings on my back, transparent ones of Wendy, cream and lemon petals on Lisanna and golden coral on Levy.

Smirking to myself, I did a victory dance in my head as Lagos was lost behind us as we soared through the clouds in pursuit of our destination of the Isromian Mountains, widely known as a training ground.

"Nice weather for flying, isn't it?"

Whipping my head around, and promptly wincing at the unwise decision during high-speed winds, may mouth suddenly hung open agape as I stared at Lagos flying backwardly with pearl wings on his back. Only those with high magical storage could conjure up wings, let alone have enough magical power to be able to soar to such lengths and heights in such a short span of time.

Shouldn't have underestimated the fool, she begrudgingly thought.

"Lucy, you know frowning is going to make you get wrinkles."

Gritting her teeth, she forced a honeyed smile. "Lucky I'm immortal then, don't you think?"

"Forcing smiles is going to turn you sour."

Clenching my fists, I slowed my flying pace and let Lagos quickly catch up with me, but not before kicking my leg out suddenly with untamed strength, causing him to fall with a large crash to the ground many feet below.

"Oops."

--------------------------------------------------

Setting myself gently on the ground, I looked round in slightly fearful awe at the jagged Isromian Mountains, grey and charcoal rocks dotted carefully around a flat rocky plain which led to a steep uphill venture of jutting rocks and rickety black fences shielding you from a momentous drop below.

"Huh, not bad for a training ground, I needed to work on my involvement with rocks in my magic anyway." Lisanna commented, setting herself down beside me as her wings dissapeared.

"Yeah, your pretty rubbish when it comes to weilding those, even if they do happen to be your element." Wendy said, a mischievous glint in her eyes as she shot a sideways glance at Lisanna, who she found great joy in provoking.

"Why, you!"

"Wendy, apologise to Lisanna, she tries hard in that area, just as you do when trying to create large hurricane for a long period of time." Lisanna scolded, as she flew in with her wings evaporating behind her, the peace-maker in the group as always.

"Sorry, Lisanna." Wendy said, ashamed.

"Better! Now everyone go and get some rest, because we have a tiring three months ahead of us of vigorous training."

"Wait a moment, just to say I entered to the council about us becoming a guild, and we are currently a guild called Catrostophe, as we seem to have to pay large fines for destruction wherever we go. Our guild mark is a key, like my Celestial Keys, but the picture reigning in it is a dragon."

"WHAT?!? Why didn't you tell us, Lucy, that is major decision! Besides, who's going to be the Guild Master?"

"Not forgetting, we are going to be entering the Grand Magic Games after three months." I carried on, oblivious to the others protests.

"You didn't answer my question! WHO IS GOING TO BE THE GUILD MASTER?!?"

"Oh, well not us, obviously, otherwise we wouldn't be able to participate in the Games, now would we? I chose someone so that we may keep an eye on him, and that someone just happens to be Lagos."

Shocked, the girls turned their glares onto a just emerging bruised Lagos, who suddenly cowered behind a rock in fright.

"What'd I do now?!?"

---------------------------------------------

"Wendy, you shall be up against Lucy first, and whoever is the victor shall go on to face the stupid man we are forced to call Master." Lucy proclaimed, ignoring the mock-hurt gaze of Lagos, who we had come to some sort of a friendship with.

He was used to the cruel jabs now, often holding onto the hem of my top and blowing his nose into it, just to annoy me, as I promptly had to throw the infected shirt out.

I'd wasted a fortune on shirts in the last two and a half months.

Stupid Lagos.

"Got it. Sorry Luce, but your goin' down." Wendy said, grinning at me as she swung her scythe around.

"Dream on, pancake, an underdeveloped kid like you couldn't even dream of hurting me." I teased, as Wendy suddenly grew angry at the pancake remark, causing her to run full speed ahead at me, swinging her scythe to leave no openings for me to shoot at.

She'd improved.

"Hell's Slice!"

The scythe was struck out at me as flames erupted from the lethal weapon and they caught me by surprise as I flew back.

"Celestial Make: Star Blade! Advanced Celestial Make: Star Blade Seal Release!"

A beautiful shining blade of curved gold appeared in my right hand, encrusted with white gem stones at the hilt, and then white light cracked the blade, revealing a cream blade with sapphires decorating the sharp end point and the top hilt where my hand resided.

"Galaxy Crash!"

I swung my sword at Wendy, as she deftly dodged the blow as fast as her element of wind, but not before three large orbs of a mixture of pink and purple with a purple ring around each appeared behind, taking her by surprise as they crashed together, releasing an energy wave that left a large gash in arm, and her shoulder let out a loud pop as it was dislocated.

Refusing to wince in pain, Wendy cried out, "Air Slash Hurricane!"

Two large hurricanes in the shape of whirlwinds appeared before me, the air poised in the shape of dancing blades, whirling around at an astonishing speed, lethal points poised towards whomever was sucked into their trap.

With little time to react, I swung myself up onto the nearest branch before diving straight into the hurricane, using my whip to pull all the blades towards me, hanging on tightly as their former speed dwindled, and then I used my Star Blade to slash at them all, the air cutting into half as the swords vanished.

Panting heavily, I turned as I landed to be met with a terrifying scythe positioned at my throat, before Wendy spoke, "Got you."

A decoy?

The scythe was slashed through my throat.

I lay down, temporarily immobile as my body unnaturally healed itself from what was supposed to be death, a small criss cross scar on my throat as a reminder of the fight.

The brat had beaten me.

"Hey! That brat stole my move!" Lisanna called angrily, waving her fist in the air, as Wendy ran away, giggling.
