Nodding my head at Lisanna, who was currently rambling on about the benefits of being an Earth Mage, I thought of what the reactions the world would have to who we had become.
It was sort of saddening.
I didn't want to be accepted suddenly because I had become powerful, but because I was the sweet and easily annoyed Lucy of Fairy Tail.
Too bad those days were over now.
Anyway, as the train was pulled to a halt, my gaze slid over to Lagos, who seemed to be deep in thought. He was probably thinking about the events that had occurred over six hundred years ago.
Drifting to sleep with thoughts, my dreams were once again consumed by a man who went by the name of Dracen.
--------------------------------------------------
Dracen sat on the deck, staring at the approaching land of Esraelia, thinking of how she had not yet appeared. Time was running out, and his world would continue to be in great peril if she was not found.
As the ship pulled into the dock, he was shocked to see no figure clad in an expensive dress waiting to hurl herself at him. Denying the fact that he was worried, he looked around upon the worried faces of the foolish humans in the land of Esraelia.
"Where is Sophia?" Dracen questioned, his deep rumbling voice drawing attention from the passer-bys walking on the cobbled stones.
"Captain, I am afraid that the Princess is, to say, missing."
Immeadiately concern flashed across his features and then anger, as the girl was vital as a sacrifice to re-awaken his princess. Grabbing the soldier who answered him by the collar, he snared, "Why was I not informed? Am I not the regent of this country until she is of age?"
"I'm afraid being out in the middle of the sea during a crisis always does leave one uninformed."
Looking up, he saw the bitter face of his best friend, a man named Lagos, with light green hair and dark eyes, his red, black and brown soldier uniform glinting with the gold medals in the light.
This man was the one who had introduced him here, when he was merely a man with nothing, until he became the strongest warrior and regent of his land, and without his backing, none would have been possible.
He unknowingly owed him a life debt.
"Lagos, my friend, when was she last seen or heard from?"
"About a week after you left, she locked herself in her room and refused to eat, and only until a maid found it unlocked did we realise that her curtains were billowing and her window was wide open. A note lay there with only the words I'm sorry."
"Well then, it seems we underestimated our dear princesses ability of camoflauge and agility, or we just have useless guards." Dracen stated darkly.
About to say something, he started to grip the place where his heart should have been, as the crystal inside started to pulse, and his body released a large glow of blue light, indicating where she was, and instantly freezing all of those around him motionless in time.
He had found his princess, as the indicator crystal said.
------------------------------------------
If only he had seen Lagos blink.
-------------------------------------------
Lucy stared at the giant coliseum which was located in the centre of Foire, where great battles were taken place to determine the strongest Guild.
"So where's our inn?" questioned Lisanna.
"I think it's called the Blue Moon? Meant to be South of here in a five minute walk." Levy answered, her voice slightly muffled as her nose was buried in a book of Ancient Runes from the Alvarez Empire.
Clicking her tongue, Lucy noticed Wendy staring into the distance, a small ball of sharp air blades she conjured resting in her hands. Directing her eyes to where her eyes where, she noticed pink, no salmon, hair and a fluttering black and white scarf approaching the Blue Moon inn.
Fairy Tail.
She groaned.

Lucy kissed him softly, blonde locks splayed against the grass they were laying on. The picnic basket long forgotten as they were immersed in one another's eyes.
Around them, things were serene, matching the attractive young couples calm mindsets. As they continued to embrace, the man felt a small trickle of water skim down his cheek.
Why was he crying now?
He couldn't remember.
"I'm so sorry, I love you, but... You betrayed me! I can't be with you anymore!"
On instinct, the man reached out to comfort her, only to be shoved away,
"I hate you! Natsu!"
---------------------------------
Natsu shot up, his forehead cloaked with sweat and his hair tousled. This same nightmare of him and Lucy had been reoccurring for months now, taunting him of what should have been.
Getting up, his ears were suddenly overcome with a loud noise, only to run outside to see a giant metal ball being suspended with magic high in the air, and a small man with a pumpkin head beside it.
"Kaboom, kaboom! Make your way through the maze to destroy the ball, but watch out! Every time something is destroyed, it will cause an earthquake! Don't fall off! Kaboom, kaboom!
Let the Grand Magic Games begin!"
And with that, he disappeared.
