Chapter 21: Nightmare

Dream.......

I saw a little boy running around in the garden. He had the same color hair as Draco. The little boy looked at me and ran to me to give me a hug. "Mommy. When is daddy coming home?" he asked me. I gave him a smile. "He will be here soon," I said to him.

The boy turned his head to see a man coming towards us. He ran over to him. "Daddy!" he said to him. I looked closely to see that it was Draco. He looked more handsome. He picked the boy up. He walked over to me and gave me a kiss on the lips.

"Welcome home," I said to him. "Thanks," he said to me. We were a perfect family.

Then, I saw the scene change.

I was in Hogwarts. I was specifically in the girl's bathroom. I looked at the mirror to see that I was older. I looked like I was in my sixth year. I saw someone behind me from the mirror. I recognized the face. It was Pansy. I turned around with my wand out but, Pansy kicked me in the stomach. I held my stomach. It hurt so much.

"Stay away from Draco. He's mine. You filthy little mudblood," she said to me and walked away. I felt something wet go down my legs. I lift my robe up to see horror. It was blood. {Was I pregnant?} I started to panic. I looked around for help.

"Draco! Draco! Where are you?!" I called out. He didn't show up. I kept calling his name. I was so scared. "Draco!"

End of nightmare.....

I woke up and sat up from the bed very quickly. I could feel the sweat on my face. I felt like I couldn't breath very well. I tried to calm down. I could feel the tears falling own my face. {That felt so real.} I had so many thoughts.

I was too scared to sleep. I needed to be comforted. I needed Draco.

I got from my bed and made my way to Draco's room. I was going to feel bad that I woke him up in the middle of the night. Actually, I didn't know if it was the middle of the night. It could be morning. I didn't care at the moment. I needed to be with him.

Draco's point of view.....

I woke up from the glow from my ring. {What now?} I looked at the clock to see that it was 1:23 am. I didn't sleep that much at all. After a while, the ring stopped glowing. I knew that the ring glowed for a reason.

I sat up from the bed and thought about what the glow could possibly mean.

Knock....knock....

I heard knocking at my door. "It better not be a filthy house elf," I said in a annoyed voice. I really didn't like to be woken up from my sleep. I removed the covers and walked over to the door. I opened the door to see Alice there.

I got really concerned for her. She was shaking and her eyes were wide with some fear. Tears were falling from her eyes. {Did she have a nightmare?} "Alice? Is something wrong?" I asked her. "Can I sleep with you?" she asked me shakily. I instantly nodded my head.

I took her hand and lead her into my room. I closed my door and lead her to my bed. I laid her down on one side of the bed and I got into the other side of the bed. I pulled the cover over us. I pulled her into my arms.

I could feel her body shaking at first but, she relaxed after a while. I decided to ask her in the morning why she was up in the middle of the night. I didn't want to disturb her. After a while, I could tell that she was sleeping peacefully.

I kissed her on the forehead and went to sleep myself.

Morning......

I woke up from the sun streaming through the crack of the curtains. I felt warm. I looked next to me to see Alice sleeping. I started to smile at myself. She really looked beautiful. I brushed the loose hair off her face.

Creak......

I heard the door open to reveal my mother with a tray of potions. She saw us in my bed. She walked over to me. "Draco. Why is she in your room? Did you take advantage of her?" she asked me. She looked very disappointed in me.

I didn't even get to tell her before she asked me the questions. I shook my head. "Of course not! I can't even do that to her. She's in my room because she wanted to be here. She came to my room in the middle of the night. She was scared about something. I was going to ask her when she woke up," I explained her.

I felt Alice moving a bit. I looked down to see her eyes open.

Alice's point of view....

I woke up from someone talking. I had a feeling that Malfoy woken up. "Malfoy? What's going on?" I asked sleepily. "Nothing my dear," I heard Narcissa say to me. {Narcissa is here!} I got up from the bed. "I...I can explain," I nervously said to her.

"It's alright dear. Draco told me," she said to me. "You can call me by my first name remember? What happened Alice?" I heard Draco asking me. {I guess he wants to know.} I started to tear up from remembering the nightmare. I felt Draco wrap his arms around me and he pulled me to his chest.

"It's okay. Take your time," he whispered to me. I nodded against his chest. After a while, he pulled away from me. I felt him wipe my ears away. "What happened?" he asked me. I took a deep breath.

I told him every detail. I told him that I saw my son. I could tell that he was happy to hear it. I even told him that the man was him. Then, I told him about Pansy kicking me in the stomach. I was calling out to him but, he didn't show up. "I think....I I was pregnant at the time. I think she killed....my baby," I struggled to say.

I felt him rub my back. "Don't worry. It's over now. I'm not going to let that happen to you okay?" he said to me. I gave him a nod. I felt Narcissa take my hands. "He's right. I won't let that happen to you as well," she said to me.

I felt her place something in my hand. "It's time for your potions. I drank three bottles of different potions. I had gotten used to the taste. After drinking the potions, I gave the bottles back to Narcissa. "Get dressed and come down for breakfast," she said to us.

"Okay," Draco said to his mother. I got up from the bed and made my way back to my room.
