Draco's point of view....

"You mean that Mudblood!" Pansy said out loud.

Everyone looked at us. I looked at Alice. She was shaking. I could see the tears forming her eyes. Her breathing was shallow. Next thing I knew, she ripped out of Nott's arms and ran through the sea of people.

I looked at Pansy who had a smirk on her face. I was very angry at her. "This is nothing to be smirking about Parkinson," I said in anger. She walked over to me and started to trace a heart on my chest with her finger.

"Come on Drake. You know that we belong together. Let's show everyone how much we love each other," Pansy flirted. I pushed her away from me. "I'm with Alice now. Alice Hyland. It's because of you that she is the way she is right now," I said to her in anger.

"Draco," I heard my mother saying my name. I looked at her. "Go find Alice. I'm going to speak with her," my mother instructed me. I gave her a nod and went to look for Alice. I decided to go to her room first.

I walked to her room. I opened the door to see that she wasn't there. I walked to my room to see that she wasn't there either. {Where is she?} I started to get worried. I was walking around the manor and she wasn't anywhere. The only place where I didn't check was the garden.

{No she didn't.....she couldn't....}

I ran out to the garden. I saw some shoe prints in the snow. I followed it until I heard crying. I walked up to the fountain to find her crying. I took my jacket off and wrapped it over her shoulders. I knew that she would be freezing.

Alice's point of view....

I felt someone cover me with a jacket. I knew that it was Draco. I didn't want to talk.. "Alice?" I heard him say my name. I couldn't bring myself to respond. Draco wrapped me in his arms. I hid my face in his chest.

I felt him kiss my forehead. "Sh...it's okay. My parents are handling it," he said to me. Next thing I knew, he lifted me up in his arms and walked back to the manor. I was feeling a bit cold now. I didn't realize it this whole time.

Once inside, he walked me into his room. He sat me down on his bed. He fixed his jacket around me. He felt my cheeks. "You're cold," he said to me. I put my head down. "I'm sorry," I said to him in a low voice.

I felt him put his fingers on my chin and pulled my face up. "You have nothing to apologize for," he said to me. I gave him a nod.

knock...knock....

We turned our head towards the door. I heard the door open. "Everything has been sorted now. Both of you may come down," Narcissa said to us. I felt Draco squeeze my hand. "You want to go down?" he asked me.

I thought about it. "Only for a little bit," I said to him. He gave me a nod. I tried to take the jacket off but, Draco told me to keep it on. We made our way down the stairs. I could hear people talking about me. We walked up to his parents.

"We had to tell everyone the truth. I hope it's alright," Lucius said to me. I gave him a nod. I knew that everyone would have to know sooner or later. We walked around the room. Some people asked me if I was alright. I told them that I was fine.

Soon, dinner was to be served at the dining room. Draco walked me to the room. Draco pulled my seat for me and I sat down. The food came out. I didn't have much of an appetite. I ate much as I could. I didn't feel too good during the main course.

"Are you alright dear? You look quite pale," she said to me with concern. "I'm going to take her to her room," I heard Draco say to his mother. Draco helped me up my seat and we walked to his room. Once inside his room, he felt my forehead. "You have a little fever. Go get dressed for bed. I'll be back when the party is over," he said to me. I gave him a nod. I heard him walk out of the room.

I got dressed for bed. I went under the covers and drifted off to sleep.

Draco's point of view....

I walked back down to the dining room. It was dessert time. I sat in my seat and started to eat my dessert. "How is she?" my mother asked me. I looked up at her. "She developed a bit of a fever. I expected that it was due to her being out in the cold when she ran out," I said to her. She gave me a nod.

I heard the chair next to me screech. I turned my head to see Pansy. I tried to control my anger. "I'm so glad that I get to sit next to you," she said to me. She fluttered her eyes at me. I ignored her and ate my dessert.

I felt her touching my arm and my leg. I looked at her in annoyance. "Come on Draco. Don't give me that look," she said in a flirtatious manner. I moved her hand away from me. I lost my appetite. I looked at my parents. "May I be excused?" I asked them. They gave me a nod. I got up from my seat and made my way to my room.

I walked inside to see Alice sleeping in the bed. I walked over to her and felt her forehead. She felt a bit warm. I pulled the covers over her. I heard footsteps behind me. I looked up to see Nott. "How is she?" he asked me.

"She's sick," I said to him. After a while, we heard the door open. We turned our heads to see Pansy leaning against the doorway. "Oh there you are Draco," she said in a flirtatious manner. She was really annoying. She was swaying her hips to much as she walked over to me.

I saw her face scrunch. "What is she doing in your bed?!" she yelled out loud. I was getting really angry. I heard the blankets ruffling behind me. I looked at Alice to see her about to wake up. I turned my head towards Pansy.

"Are you out of your mind?!" I said in a whisper and in anger.
