Emma, Henry and Amelia stood talking with Ruby outside of Granny's diner as the waitress' car was being dropped off by a tow truck, "So, this boyfriend of hers, you don't think he was involved in her disappearance?" the blonde asked, Ruby placed a plate on the table she was serving "That would mean he was involved with her at all, which he isn't, he left her in the lurch right after they found out they were expecting, hasn't spoken to her since, like I said, he's a-."

Her car was abruptly dropped making the wolf charm rattle, the waitress rushed over to the picket fence "Hey, hey, hey, Billy, be careful, you almost shattered my wolf thing, Billy, it's good luck." the mechanic glanced at her "I'm sorry, Ruby, but look, it's fine." he said pointing at the red and white wolf hanging on the car mirror.

"Um, Ruby, what about her family?" Emma asked as she attempted to get the girl's attention, the girl turned around facing them, "Oh, um, she's got a step mum and two step sisters that she doesn't talk to." she told them, the twins shared a look "Wait, step mum, step sisters and she's a maid?" Amelia smiled up at her birth mother who shook her head "Amelia, not now."

She looked down disappointment clear on her face, Ruby sighed "Look, I don't know what you've heard, but it's wrong, everyone thinks she's not ready to have this kid, but she's trying, taking night classes, trying to better herself, trying to get her life together." Emma smiled at her "Can you understand that?" the blonde nodded briefly "I think so."

The waitress sighed again "Then maybe you should just stay out of it, she's been through enough already." "I've been through it too, Ruby, and I can help her." the blonde told her "Then try her ex." the waitress instructed "Where can I find him?" Emma asked, she took a moment bitterness clear in her voice "He lives with his dad."

Emma knocked on the door to the Herman house, "Can I help you?" Sean asked as he opened the door to the blonde, "Sean Herman?" she asked, he nodded confusion overtaking his features, "Yeah, who are you?" "I'm Emma Swan." she introduced as a car pulled up into the driveway, "I'm, I'm looking for Ashley Boyd, she's in trouble, I thought maybe she came to see you." she informed him.

"My son doesn't have anything to do with that girl anymore." a man said as he approached the steps to the house, the blonde turned to him, "So whatever trouble she's in, I am sorry for, but there is nothing we can do." the woman stared at him, "You're the reason he broke up with her." he nodded "Absolutely, I'm not gonna let my son throw away his entire life over a mistake."

"So you just told him to leave her?" she asked, he held the papers in his hand closer to him "What were they gonna do, raise the child in the backseat of a car?" Amelia and Henry watched from the yellow buggy, the two shared a look as something over came the birth mother's face "Some people only have the backseat of a car."

He walked into the house "Well, they're to be pitied, I'm not letting that happen to mu son." Sean sighed "Dad, maybe we should help her look." "It's a waste, Sean." Mitchell told him as he bent down near the table, Emma stepped closer to him speaking quietly to him "Sean, if you wanna come, come, stop letting other people make decisions for you, if Ashley runs away with this baby, she's gonna be in some serious trouble."

He paused "She's running away with baby?" he questioned, she nodded briefly "Yes." she confirmed, "Sean, inside now." Mitchell spoke as he came up behind his son, the father and son stared at each other for a moment before Sean slipped inside and the father stood before the blonde "Look, believe me, if I knew where she was, I would tell you, I went to a lot of trouble to get her that deal."
