Hello all, I hope you're doing well! I apologize for the long absence since the last chapter. I had another bout of writer's block, took a break, and before I realized it, the fall and spring semesters of college slammed me in the face.
Oh well. At least I finally got back on it.

Nightbird walked out of her room on the Nemesis, observing the countless bodies of slain Decepticons. She hadn't seen this much damage in a long time, nor had she felt or heard Optimus Prime so angry.
Not since his reaction to her supposed death...
She knelt down to observe the blast holes through the armor of several Decepticons, before then spotting the face of one familiar con: Rideshatter. The very same one that was dealt with seriously by a strangely powered-up Ratchet.
'Just what the scrap caused Optimus to go berserk like this?' she narrowed her yellow optics.
But before she could continue examining Rideshatter and the closest Decepticon to him, Nightbird heard a groan from an all-too familiar voice.

"Ughhh...not again...!" Knockout pinched his metal temples in disgust. More of his paint job will be stained with the horror of dirty work, again.
Nightbird and Breakdown, whom the latter was with Knockout earlier, helped him carry the bodies into the infirmary. This sure will take- "Nightbird?"
The Autobot spy looked up at the doctor. "Do you know...how far it goes?" the Con asked with concern, nearly gagging afterwards.
Mentally, she rolled her eyes at his ego. But her face masked her disgust completely. Nodding, she walked out to check on the halls, looking down each and every room and intersection ahead.
She sighed. "You're not gonna like it, Knockout."
"Ugghhhhh...!!"
[MEANWHILE, IN JASPER, NEVADA]
The trip back home didn't go exactly as planned. Right before the highway exit to the town, the evening sky soon became covered with huge storm clouds, and the wind began to slowly pick up. The biggest thing to occur was the sudden activation of the Emergency Alert System from Tyler Rodriguez's radio in the truck, which alerted to a massive storm of unknown size and severity sweeping in the region.
"The following warning has been transmitted at the request of the state governor and the United States government. Due to the ongoing meteorological phenomena occurring across the world, the government has authorized a shelter-in-place warning, effective immediately. To do so, stay indoors- do not go outside, no matter the circumstances, until the all-clear has been given by the authorities. Please house at least-"
