chapter 5: part 2. sweet Justice.

Marks POV

"What do you know about someone by the name of Tara Mckenzie?" I asked him "miss McKenzie works in the gaming and music production department. She works alongside my wife" he smiled "oh the one you have been cheating on with you secretary" his smile vanished "what did you say?" I leaned over the desk and grabbed him by the scruff of his neck "did I fucking stutter?" His eyes were fall of shock and horror "what you did to Tara was unforgivable you worthless piece of shit!" I spat at him "now you are going to leave her alone and allow her to continue working here or else" I told him letting him go "or what?" He spat "I have evadance of what you did to her, unless you want your company going under I suggest you do as your told!" "Very well then" the man nodded in agreement "if you touch her again I will hurt you worse than what you did to her!" I yelled then left his office.

My phone starting ringing, I picked it up and answered "hello?" "Mark? Are you alright?" came Tara's gentle voice "yes its just hot out here" I told her "what time will you been back?" "20-30 minutes max, I promise" I told her "okay see you soon" "I love you" I told her I don't know why I did it just felt right, their was a long pause "bye" she said then hung up the phone. I got into her car and drove off.

Tara's POV

I heard the door opening as I was editing one of my videos "Tara?" I hear Mark calling my name "in here Mark!" I called out to him. He walked into my office "How you feeling?" He asked me "ive been a lot better I must admit" I sighed Mark came over and hugged me, I slightly flinched still a bit jumpy after last night "Its ok, its just me. I won't let anything like this happen to you ever again, I promise" Mark told me and kissed my forehead "thank you Mark" I hugged him back tightly.

I think I maybe in love with him I told myself. Would that be so bad? I asked myself. I feel so confused and wonder if he feels the same, but I'm way to scared to ask. We sit like this for a little while longer just holding one another.
