Mark's POV

I just stepped out of the shower and wrapped the towel around my waist before looking at my watch that I placed on the sink "I wonder when Tara will call?" I asked myself as I pulled my hair back with my hands, I walked out of the bathroom to hear mumbling "what the hell is Thomas doing??" I asked myself before walking into the living room I saw the back of my beautiful girlfriends head when my brother noticed my presents "oh hi mark" Thomas cleared his thoart Tara turned around and when her deep green eyes meet mine they sparkled "how did you get back?" I asked Tara "peter dropped me off, he doesn't live far from here and I thought I would be to late to ring you. I'm sorry" Tara lowered her head I walked over and knelt down in front of her "hey, it's alight" I lifted her chin up with my finger then smiled at her "I'm just glad you're alright" "Tara was just telling me about her job" Thomas said changing the subject "oh yeah. How was it today?" I asked getting up off the floor "I'll tell you after I make drinks, anyone want a coffee?" Tara asked getting up off the sofa "yes please dear" "what about you Thomas?" She asked grabbing the cups and coffee "sure thing" Tara nodded her head and boiled the jug.

Thomas and I chatted as Tara made the two of us coffees "sorry about barging in like that today mark, I interrupted you're game with wade and bob" Thomas said "no don't worry about it" I chuckled "I'll redo it some other time" Tara walked over with the coffees she handed my brother his one first being very polite and then she gave me mine "thank you" I placed a kiss on her cheek, "so-" I said taking a sip as Tara pulled a chair over "-how was work?" "Well it was very interesting" "how so?" Thomas asked curious "well today peter and I were working on his new album" "wow that's cool" I comented taking another sip "and he also got me to be in it aswell" I almost spat out my drink "are you serious???" I asked as I felt my eyes growing wide Tara nodded her head blushing slightly "that's amazing!" I pulled Tara against my damp chest "I didn't know you were a singer Tara" Thomas said "I'm not. Peter heard me singing once and wanted me to sing a song with him" "that's so amazing. I can't wait to hear it" I said "oh please don't mention it to anyone. Peter wants to keep it a sercet till he announces the album realise" "we won't tell a soul" Thomas spoke up "thank you it means alot" Tara smiles.

We spent another hour talking before I heard Tara yawning I looked over at her and saw her eyes were barely open "Tara" I whispered in her ear "huh?'' Tara rubbed her eyes "why don't you head off to bed? You've had a long day" Tara nodded her head then stood up from the sofa "it's been such a pleasure meeting you Thomas, exuse my rudeness but I've had a long tiring day and I would like to get some rest" "no its fine honestly I understand. It's been awesome getting to know you" Thomas said shaking her hand "goodnight" Tara said before leaving for the bedroom "I think she's perfect for you mark. She's very smart,kind,caring,loving,honest,beautiful and she's very devoted to her work and to you. I just know mom would love her" I blushed at his words "yeah she really is" " you can stay at the guest room down the hall to the left" I said pointing down the hallway "thanks mark, and you should call mom" Thomas told me "I promise I will" Thomas nodded then walked off down the hallway. I climbed into my bed and wrapped my arm around taras waist and pulled her body against mine before I drifted off to sleep.

The next morning when I woke Tara had already gone off to work and Thomas was in the shower so as promised I called my mom "-hello?" She answered "hi mom it's me,mark" "-oh mark my darling! How are you?" I chuckled "I'm great thanks everything is going great, how are you?" "- I'm good just been doing house work and stuff like that" "well I'm glad you're alright. Anything interesting happened lately?" "-no not really apart from a family moving in next door it's been the same old same old. How's the channel going dear?" "Its been going very well I've been doing a lot lately" "-that's great to hear, umm mark?" "Yes mom?" I asked raising an eyebrow "-I was wondering that when you come down from Christmas, would you like to bring you're girlfriend with you?" "I'm sure she would love too mom! She's at work right now but I'll ask her when she gets home then I'll ring back with her answer" "-okay darling, well I've got to go shopping. I'll hear from you later, love you bye now" "love you too." after my call with mom, Thomas went out to meet up with some old friends so I sat myself down at my computer desk and started recording.

I was half was through my video editing when a voice behind me made me jump "you're doing it wrong" I turned around to see Tara standing behind me "excuse me?" I asked "you're doing that wrong. Here let me show you" I moved out of Taras way and watched her click on a bunch of different things a few moments later Tara moved aside "there you go, much better" "thank you so much, although you scared the shit out of me" I laughed "oh I'm sorry I have a habit of being silent" "I might have to put a bell around you're neck" we both laughed "how was work?" I asked Tara "it was good thanks, almost finished the album and half way through the sound track for the game" "that's awesome babe" I kissed her forehead "oh Tara I wanted to ask you something" "what is it mark?" Tara asked looking slightly worried I chuckled at her reaction "my mom wants to invite you to ours for Christmas" "r-really?" She stuttered "yes really, she wants to meet you" "I would love to!" Tara smiled "that's awesome to hear babe!" I wrapped my arms around her and kissed her Tara giggled "my mom will be frilled to hear this! I'll ring her now and let her know!" I couldn't stop smiling at this point "I'm going to take a shower" Tara told me before kissing my chin and walking off, I pulled out my phone and rang my mom straight away.
