chapter 6: is it love?

Tara's POV

Did he really just say that or was I imaging things, I stared at him "what?" I asked him confused "I think I'm in love with you, Tara Mckenzie" "somebody like you can't be in love with someone like me" I told him "somebody like me?" "Famous, loved by many, kind,loving and caring.I would just be a shadow" " Tara, your not a shadow. Somebody so beautiful it would be a crime to call you a shadow" "Mar-" before I could even finish saying his name, his lips crashed on top of mine. His kiss was gentle and long.

I pulled away speechless "Mark... Wow" "What is it?" "That kiss" I answered "what about it?" "It was amazing" I told him blushing Mark smiled and whispered in my ear "do you love me too?" I blushed even harder "of course I do" mark's smile grew wider "Good" he leaned in for another kiss then my phone rang "ugh, sorry I should take this" I told him then answered my phone.

"Hello?" "Hello, miss McKenzie" came my bosses voice "Hello sir, what can I do for you?" I asked confused "I know your new here at the company but I would like to offer you a chance to show your talents and offer something to the company" "okay, I'm listening" I answered "I would like to a sign you to a new music programe we have running" "wow really? I would love to!" I replied excited "you start next week, you have the rest of this week off" "yes sir, thank you very much." I hung up the phone and told Mark the good news.

Marks POV

Tara has been working on a new program at her job so she hasn't been around very much. She's been working so hard, I'm so proud of her. Its been a week snice we told each other that we loved one anything I love with all my heart "I want to be hers" I told myself but I want to get to know her better before we rush into anything.

I sat at Tara's desk, and I file was open, the file read "music trial" I clicked on the file and listen to the track a beautiful voice started to sing the song a long with volion playing in the background. The track finished and I leaned back in the chair "Wow that was amazing" Tara walked into the room, she looked up and saw me "HOLY SHIT!!" She jumped back in surprise "Mark! You scared me" she laughed "aww I'm sorry" I hugged her tightly, "what are you doing here?" Tara asked me. "Waiting for you" I told her as I planted a kiss on her forehead, she looked over at her computer screen "have you been looking at my files?" Tara walked over to the computer " no, that music file was open when I came in. I swear!" I told her "I believe you but that means that somebody else has been in here."
