chapter 7: unwanted visitor

Tara's POV

I searched through everything on my computer to see if anything was missing or different, nothing but for some reason all my music files had been open but none of them had been tampered with. I leaned back into my chair "who would break into my apartment and only look through my music files?" I asked myself confused "ugh it doesn't make any sense!" I said annoyed. Mark appeared in the doorway and he softly knocked on the door "Tara?" He called out "come on in" I sighed and rested my head on the desk.

I felt a hand on my back "you okay?" Marks voice spoke "I don't understand this at all...why break in and only go through the music files?" "I have no idea, its rather strange" Mark pulled me into a hug "why don't we ask Jane if she saw anybody come up here?" I suggested.

I took the lift down to the front desk where Jane was sitting, I apporched the desk. Jane looked up at me and smiled "hello Tara dear, how are you?" "Not bad. Bit of a rough bay" I answer "oh, sorry to hear that my dear" "can I ask you a question?" I asked "sure my dear what can I help you with?" "Has anybody come through here this week that you didn't recognize?" I asked "umm yes I did, she went up to your floor. I assumed she was a friend of marks" "what did she look like?" I asked with a raised eyebrow "she was tall, short brown hair with blonde tips and hazel eyes" she answered

I laid in bed that night unable to sleep "ugh!" I kicked off the blankets and got out of bed "I wonder if mark is still awake? I asked myself, I walked over to Marks in my pjs. I knocked on Marks apartment door and waited for him to open the door, nothing. I pressed my ear up against the door and listened closely, all I could hear was Mark talking very loud I opened up the door and stepped inside. Inside marks apartment his talking grew louder, I walked into marks game room his back was facing me so all I could see was his monitors I snuck up silently beside him he still continued with his game as if he hasn't noticed me, I looked at the screens and saw three other faces jack,Bob and wade "oh he's playing prop hunt" I told myself I sat their next to mark just listening and watching. Mark looked my way slightly "OMFG!" He screamed and jumped "how long how you been their?!?" Mark asked me shocked "a while" I giggled "you..ugh!" Mark kissed my cheek then unplugged his earphones "what happened?" came an Irish accent over the speaker "mark?" Came bobs voice, mark moved the camera reviling the two of us "hey, everyone this is Tara" Mark introduced me "oh the one that you are nonstop talking about" wade teased I looked over at mark and saw him blushing "anything you would like to say Tara?" I was asked I cleared my thoart "shut up wade!" Their was a roar of laughter "Haha I love her already Mark!" Jacks voice came "good choice Mark" Bob said "we aren't together guys" mark pointed out "yet" I muttered "sassy Tara, I like it" wade laughed "so what do you reckon in joining us for a game?" jack asked me "umm Mark what do you think?" I asked "sure thing" mark replied with a smile.

We played prop hunt for another three hours with mark in control of the keyboard and I had control of the mouse "that's all for this video, please like and subscribe for more video's. We said our goodbyes to wade,jack and bob before turning off the consuls "I'll help you with the editing in the morning" I told mark "thank you" Mark kissed my forehead "I've got a spare bed if you want to use it. Its quite late" "yeah that would be best, thanks" I said standing up before walking off. Mark followed me to the spare bedroom door "good night Mark" I spoke up, mark leaned towards me and his lips meet mine, this kiss was full of passion I pulled away left speechless "g-good night" I repeated then walked into the bedroom.
