Mark's POV

I woke up with my arms around Tara I smiled at her sleeping face and kissed the top of her head,I got out of bed quietly so I wouldn't disturb Tara I walked into my office and sat down to record my final video before we leave tomorrow. Once I finished editing my video I walked into my bedroom and saw that Tara was gone and in her place was a note I walked over and picked it up dear mark, I woke up and heard you recording a video I didn't want to disturb you. Anyway I've gone back to my apartment to pack if you need me just come on over xx love Tara. I grabbed my suitcase and started folding up different clothes and placing them inside my suitcase, once I packed all my clothes I managed to pack my Christmas presents aswell I also have a carry on bag that I packed my laptop, earphones, camera, a few movies and a couple small bags of lollies I was very exitced to go back home and bring Tara with me but I'm nervous to see how she will react to my mother being to open about everything hopefully it doesn't creep her out or anything like that my phone started ringing and I jumped onto the bed to grab my phone I looked at the caller ID and saw Jordan's name I picked up the phone and put it up to my ear "hello" "hey mark!" Jordan's cheerful voice echoed in my air "how are you?" I asked "I'm doing just great thanks, I'm actually at the airport right now" "oh really why's that?" I asked "I'm just flying home to be with my family for Christmas, and how are you?" He asked "I'm good, I've just finished packing. Tara and I are going back to my mom's for Christmas and we're leaving tomorrow" "that's nice I bet Tara is looking toward to that" I chuckled " I think so but I'm not sure of she is prepared for my mom" Jordan laughed "it's not easy meeting you're partner's parents so I understand that she's nervous" "I have all faith in Tara I'm sure she'll handle it just fine" I told Jordan "yes I totally agree, I have no doubts at all. Anyway I better not miss my flight" "no you shouldn't! Thank you for calling. I hope you have a good Christmas" I told him "you too Mark. Bye bye now" and with that he hung up.

I wanted to see how Tara was doing so I walked over to her apartment and walked in the door "Tara?" I called out "in here mark!" I heard her calling out from her bedroom I walked over to her bedroom door and swung it open and saw Tara kneeling on the ground zipping up her carry on bag I stepped into the room and closed the door behind me "I came to see how you were doing. But it looks like you're done" Tara nodded her head "I pack lightly for a women all apart of my military days, old habits die hard" Tara replied I frowned slightly Tara doesn't like to talk much about her time in the military as if she is ashamed of herself, I understand that it may of left some scars but she also would have done so good "what's wrong Mark? " Tara asked snapping me out of my daze I shook my head and smiled "nothing just day dreaming" I sat down on the end of taras bed and pulled her onto my lap "Jordan called" Tara looked up at me "he was at the airport flying home for christmas" I explained "aww that's nice" Tara smiled but I felt like her smile was fake it was probably just my imagination so I shook it off "It makes me happy knowing that people are with their families for Christmas" Tara said as she rested her head against my shoulder I looked my watch and yawned "we should probably get to bed since we have an early start tomorrow" Tara nodded her head as she climbed off me I stood up and walked towards the door and was about to leave when I felt arms around my waist "please don't leave me" Tara croaked she sounded like she was about to cry, I turned around and pulled her against my chest and wrapped my arms around her tightly "I won't" I climbed into bed alongside Tara and pulled her against me then I drifted off to sleep.
