Makrs POV

After about two hours of running through the forest I finally found Tara sobbing under a tree she was completely drenched from her head to her toe I hated my mother for what she has done I never want to see Tara suffer again! I swooped her up in my arms and vowled to always love her "this is a vowl I will never break, I swear it!" Tara countied to peer up at my face with her tear stained one she wrapped her arms around my neck and rested her head on my chest "I'm sorry that I've ruined Christmas" she croaked I shook my head as I kept walking to the house "that's the last thing that's on my mind right now." I carried Tara up to my bedroom and set her down on the edge of the bed "you need to take a hot bath, I'll go run it for you" Tara nodded as she began to shiver I quickly rushed to the bathroom and ran hot water into the bathtub I returned to Tara and picked her up bridal style and carried her to the bathroom and set her down on top of the toilet lid "do you need me to help?" I gestured at her soaked clothes she shook her head as she tried to unzip her dress "let me" I slipped her dress over her head and took off her shoes then I lifted her into the hot steamy bathtub, I was about to walk out of the bathroom when Tara grabbed my arm "don't leave" I raised an eyebrow at her "you're wet as well, you need to get warm too" I smirked at her "you want me to join you?" Tara let go of my arm and blushed as she nodded her head "as you wish."

Tara and I sat in the bath together for a few moments before I climed out "are you ready to get out?" I asked extending a hand out for her "it's alright I can do it" she then climed out and stood next to me I placed a hand on her face "you're not cold anymore that's good" I told her before she grabbed a towel and wrapped it around her body she let out a yawn "shall we get into bed?" I asked wrapping a towel around my waist "no. We need to talk to you're mother" I stared at her in shock "are you serious?" I questioned Tara just simply nodded "if that's what you want" I pulled Tara against my own body she just nodded again "but first I'll have you" I planted a passionate kiss on her lips before pulling her to the bedroom.
