The video was interesting. It was about war and peace and seemed so educational about whatever world I'm living in.
"Let's do the girls first." The lady said.
I still didn't know who this woman is. Does she just not like to say it?

She reached inside the bowl. My heart raced. I have no idea why, it's not like I'm going to get picked. I don't even belong here.
"Annabeth Chase."
I was wrong.
Everybody looked at me.
I walked to the stage. The lady congratulated me and then went to pick the boy's name.
She reached into the bowl.
"Max Black."
A guy around my age walked to the stage. It was that kid that apparently was "my bestfriend." He was tall, had darker blue eyes and light brown hair. He had a stunned look on his face.

The two tributes had to shake hands and then we headed off.

My dad said goodbye and then we were put on to this weird train. Max and I sat there.
"You nervous to meet him? You do know he won the games twice right?"
"Who?"
"Finnick Odair?.."
As if on cue a man walks through. A smile on his face.
"Interesting tributes this year." He says and crosses his arms.
I give him a  deadly look and he looks away.
"So do you guys want to learn to survive."
"I already know how." I say. I did?
"Well that's too bad. First, if your good at fighting then go for the cornucopia, if not, get out of there."
I nod. Finnick goes on about how to survive for another 20 minutes and then finally says, "got it?" We both nod.
"Now get some rest. We'll be arriving at the Capitol tomorrow."
What the heck was the Capitol?

I walk to my temporary bedroom, or whatever it was. I sit on my bed. It was a simple room. A single bed. A desk and window. A couch and a dresser. I laid down on my bed which was extremely comfy and soon drifted off to sleep with still one word in my head.
Percy.
