Chapter #26 ~Percy~

They seriously think it's funny to be playing pranks in the hunger games?
Okay I could've killed Annabeth!
Was her back okay?
I mean I slammed her into a tree.
Like ow.

A scream.
A scream in the distance gets cut off. 
"The finale." Katniss says.
"What is it?" Annabeth asks.
I sense it.
Water.
A lot of water.
Like I mean a lot.
"Tidal wave..." I mumble.
The water.
It starts to come.
"GO!" I yell.
We run.
The water comes into clear vision.
I mean I know it can't hurt me or anything but I'm mostly worried about Annabeth and Katniss.
"A tidal wave!" Katniss says over the loud noise of water rushing and trees crashing.
"Percy!" Annabeth says trailing behind.
"Can you make an air bubble!" She yells.
Why didn't I think of that.
"Okay stop running and hold your breath... NOW."
I hear the Katniss and Annabeth hold their breath.
The water crashes and we all go flying everywhere.
I see Katniss and Annabeth going with the rush.
I make an air bubble.
Annabeth and Katniss starts swimming towards the air bubble.
I pop it so the two girls can enter.
Annabeth comes next to me.
She's holding her neck.
I make the air bubble and she collapses to the floor.
She stands up and leans against me.
Breathing hard.
Katniss is having trouble swimming over.
Annabeth catches her breath quickly and is trying to still swim to us.
We yell at her o come closer.
We're encouraging her.
"Percy make the air bubble bigger!" Annabeth says.
"I can't make one that big!" I yell back.
Katniss starts to swim faster.
"Okay hold on to me, pop the bubble and we can push the turrets to reach her!" Annabeth says.
I nod.
Annabeth grabs on to my waist and I pop the bubble.
We are immediately blasted by the current.
I then use the water to help me get Annabeth and I closer to Katniss.
We finally reach her and I make the air bubble.
Katniss lays at the bottom of it.
Not moving.
A canon goes off.
Annabeth gasps and sits next to Katniss dumbstruck.
I'm too shocked.
I was too late.
It's because of me Katniss is dead.
Me.
The wave starts to subside and the current stops.
The water starts to sink and I pop the bubble as we hit ground.
We are in the cornucopia.
Annabeth tackles me in a kiss.
I deep passionate kiss.
"Percy. W-w-we're the last two."
I don't know what to do.
"Annabeth." I say quietly.
"Percy." She says tears in her eyes.
"I love you so much." I say.
"I love you to Percy." She says.
I throw my sword to the ground.
I have to kill this girl.
This smart, beautiful, talented, kind girl that I've gotten the advantage of meeting.
But I can't.
I can not kill my wise girl.
Never.
She drops her dagger and we break apart from our hug.
I dig in the backpack.
I know what I have to do.
It's not that I'm scared to do it.
I'm not.
I'm willing going to.
I find one of the small knives we've been impaled with so many times.
"Percy, what are you doing?"
I look at her with my baby seal look.
A tear runs down her cheek.
A tear runs down mine as well.

I bring the knife to my own chest.

Annabeth screams.
I collapse.
Annabeth is screaming my name.
The pain in my chest is killer.
She kisses me one last time.
She sobs.
She's shaking her head repeating no over and over again.
My vision is getting more fuzzy as Annabeth takes the knife from my chest and throws it her hardest.
She's screaming my name.
Telling me not to die.
Doesn't she know?
I'm already dead.

I may be hallucinating but part of the sky exploded.
Then again.
A gigantic warship comes from within the whole of the sky.
Annabeth is still crying as a blonde male lands next to her.
Jason.
Our friends actually found us.
He's staring at me.
He realizes what he had to do.
He lifts Annabeth up so she's standing.
A giant eagle is flying towards us.
It's carrying a girl with curly brown hair.
Frank and Hazel.
Hazel begins to cry.
Annabeth is resisting Jason screaming at me.
Screaming for me to stay strong.
They are getting help.
Why aren't I dead yet?
It's breaking my heart to watch this.
The giant eagle picks Hazel and I up.
Annabeth is crying.
Jason is trying to get her to fly with him to the ArgoII.
My vision goes absolutely blank.
Darkness.
That's when I realize.
