I was going to see and talk to Annabeth today. My memories were coming back slowly after I saw her at the chariot parade.
I was a demigod.
We fell into tartarus together.
We fought side by side since we were twelve.
I was son of Poseidon.
Worst of all now I knew riptide wouldn't work in the games. It was made of celestial bronze. Goes straight through mortals. Great.
Katniss and I were in the elevator down to the training room.
"You got your memories back didn't you." She says.
I nod.
"Tell me about yourself then."
I laugh.
"I am a demigod. Son of Poseidon. Annabeth and I have saved the world twice. Second time with the help of five others. We've fought side by side since we were twelve. We even fell into tarturus together." I say and take a breath. "I live in Manhattan. And I've been kicked out of pretty much every school I've been in. Because I'm ADHD my battle reflexes and dyslexic. My mind is trained to read Greek."
Katniss looks at me.
"You're like a hero."
"Yep."
"Humble too."
"Just being honest."
She laughs.
"So you and Annabeth must be really close."
"Yeah. This is the second time I've gotten my mind erased as well. The work of Hera. Both times I've only remembered my name and her. This time I also understood my surroundings though."
Katniss is amazed.
"Your a skilled fighter then......"
I nod. "Killer with a sword. Annabeth a dagger."
Katniss almost seemed nervous. I realize now why she asked. We are going into an arena where we fight till the death. And I'm a skilled fighter. Oops.
The elevator finally opens to the training room. We were one of the last ones to be there.
Annabeth. She's standing there studying me. I wonder if she got her memory back. She standing next to a guy. He better not flirt with her or else-
My thoughts are interrupted by a lady.
"Welcome to training."
She explains to us about survival and how we won't all die from being killed from people. Some from natural causes. I'm staring at Annabeth and don't notice. I really missed her.
