Less than Formal Introductions

The half tornado hangs over the town like a natural lord. I even take a moment to bow at its dangerous beauty. I hope Shiloh stayed inside. She got herself killed last time and I don't wish for a repeat performance. A thought flashes through my mind . I cant die unless Xalvo and I both die together I wonder if it's the same way for Shiloh and Uela. I walk out of the forest and down the road. The BBQ place she was talking about is Sonny's I go there sometimes to choose a tasty lonely person.
The storm is roaring and I look over at the tornado fully formed doing what it does best.I sigh at the beauty of it and now once more. It's things like this you don't see in the Pits but you really want to.I continue walking and go down the road leading towards Sonny's. A car pulls up besides me and the window rolls down " its storming back there go the other way" I smile and leak a little bit of honeyed persuasion into my voice and look at him pleadingly
"Please sir I need to get to Sonny's my sister is there and she's afraid I have money if you need it"
The man caves in immediately as mortals always do.
"Get in I'll get you there" he says
I hop in the car and he makes a U-turn speeding towards the Sonny's.
"So howd your sister end up at the grill with no one ?" He asks me
I hate nosy people
I grab his head and slam it repeatedly into the wheel. Pulverizing his skull into a paste and push him out of the car door leaving a bloody smear on the back road. I grab the wheel and whisper power into its engine and rocket towards my destination. I arrive there in 15 minutes and pull up and enter the building and look for Samantha. I find her sitting in a booth while this old man tries to hit on her.
I walk up and raise my voice cheerfully
"Hi baby sorry I tried the best I could but they are completely out if the Sweet Sauce so we're just gonna have to order something different,that waitress must be pissed for waiting on us huh love?"
The old man flashes from enthusiastic to disappointed and walks away without another word. Poor old fuck.
I sit in the booth across from Sam and pick up a menu
"What the.." She says
"Shiloh sent me to retrieve you sorry it took me awhile the roads are poorly paved around here" I interrupt her
I call over a waitress and order a fish based dish. "You want anything?" I ask Samantha.
"Pork three way with salad bar.." She says awkwardly
The waitress smiles after taking our orders and leaves.
"So you came all the way out of town and out here for no apparent reason" I say to Sam . "actually I was supposed to meet a friend but she never showed up" she says pissed off
"Well I guess that's not too unreasonable. Hey what does Shiloh like candy wise?"I ask her
" Twix or bottle caps" she answers
"Ok well pick some up " I say smiling a plan forming in my head. Natural disasters did always make me rather mischevious.
"They don't sell them here the closest place is in town." She's says and nods towards the window to indicate the tornado
We eat our meal and I take her to the newly hijacked car and start driving back home then turn backwards.
"What the hell are we doing!" She yells
"Shilohs going to want some candy and we don't have any at my house " I say casually
She trys to undo her buckle to get out and I tap the car and lock the seatbelt.
"What the hell!!"
"Actually hell isn't a thing its a place and its way to warm in the summer. Forget Florida" I say and laugh
She starts beating on my shoulder "let me out" she yells
"Ugh your too damn loud" I turn my head towards her and let my true eyes flash a moment then turn back and smiles to myself. She freezes and stops yelling and I sigh in the comfort of silence and confusion.
I speed into town and park in front of the Walmart in town. I allow her to unbuckle and say" you coming or staying because if your not then I need to know what you want"
She hurried up and gets out and runs through the doors and I smile and feel the strong winds on my skin. I breathe and sigh again. Damn nature is gorgeous.
I walk into the store and find Twix and bottle caps I pick up a Hershey bar for when I find Samantha again. I cash them out and go in search of Samantha I listen for her sounds. She tried to fool my by hiding in the carts I can hear her breathing.I walk to her grab her cart and say
"Hello Sam do you like roller coasters"
She tries to climb out I grab her hand and pull her outside the tornado is as close as I thought it would be.
"Why are you doing this asshole!?" She screams
"Because Shiloh said to bring you to me and I want to have fun doing it. Small tasks bore me unbelievably"
We walk right towards the twister as I wrap layer after layer of protective hexes over an unknowing Sam.
She fights me the whole way and I don't blame her. If I was mortal I would've chewed my own wrist of by now to escape my madman captor.
I shift my gravity to my feet as we get closer and hold on to Sam who is now slightly off the ground. My grin widens as we stand directly in front of the vortex of swirling air. And I look over my shoulder at Sam who's screaming like a bears attacking her.

I jump full force into the twister holding Sam close and jumping from pieces of debris all the way to the top. The hexes seem to be working since she's breathing instead of having her lungs ripped through her mouth by the gale force winds. I jump and twist my way to the top and momentarily forget I have sam and laugh in complete euphoria. Her panic brings me back to earth and I wait with my claws in a large piece of metal ,presumably from a car. I smile and say "roller coaster time" and I let the forceful gust launch me where I need to go.
