Waking the demon

Tatiana walks us out the door and I ask " come with us we could use your help". She smiles and "I'm not doing anything else today ". She opens the garage and she pulls out in an old pickup truck, Xalvo picks up the motorcycle and puts it in the back and hops back there with it. Uela and I get in the front of the truck. I tell Tatiana where the house is. My mind wanders I worry for Noah he's the love of my life. I should have never left.And I don't remember the accident that placed me with Tati. I don't know what I was thinking leaving like that especially with Noah having all those problems with Joseph and his strange glamor failure. A tear runs down my cheek all I want is to be held by him to be kissed by him. Feel his warmth as we sleep together but now we can't do that and It's all my fault that he's this way. Uela holds my hand she's probably the only best friend I've ever had besides Xalvo and Noah she understands everything. I know she can feel my pain she's literally the other half of me and I squeeze her hand. We arrive at the house and Xalvo jumps out and picks the bike up and carries it to the garage putting it back where it belongs. He helps me and Uela out and asks me if I'm feeling better or if I need some rest. I cant consider rest All I can think about is Noah. I run into the house leaving behind everyone else, I see Joseph is hanging his head in the dining hall ,i run to our room and I see him laying on the bed not moving, barely breathing and sheet white, just laying their like he was truly dead.I run to the bed and shake him screaming " wake up! Wake up!" He doesn't move. He can't be just dead he's been through too much. I remember the rage in his eyes at the waiter that first made him strange to me and the charming smile he gave me after what I found out later was his decision not to consume me. I begin to cry slamming my head on his chest crying "wake up wake up please I'm right here I'm back". I can barely breathe, tears choking me. " I look up at him crying "please just wake up I'm begging you to just wake up". Xalvo, Uela and Tati come running into the room. Uela falls to her knees at the pain of my pain she is feeling ,she has tears running down her face and says " Xalvo she's really hurt". Xalvo makes a face I've never seen on him. I think its pain or affection I don't know. He turns to tati and says "please madame is their anything you can do" his voice leaks a small hint of contempt. He's not used to pleading. She says " I can try but I cant bet that I won't be much help I'm merly a witch doctor I'm not this level of magic I'm a healing witch." I turn and beg her "please!". I gasps for air as I fall to the ground curling up in a ball trying to escape all of this, Uela crawls over and turns into a snow white lion and holds me and purrs trying to comfort me curling her massive form around me. Tati walks to Noah and sprinkles powder on Noah's chest and chants. The flames in the candles rise green smoke wrap around Noah he twitches and yells "No!"As he falls back down going back into a deep sleep.Chills run down my back. He screamed in fear. Nothing scares him. What could ever scare him. Tatiana gasps and takes a couple steps back and says " I can't do anything his magic to powerful and theirs something else keeping him from coming back". I begin to cry again and say " well who can bring him back". She hesitates before she says " my grandmother..Calypso.. but she's no where to be found I don't even know where she is". "We need to find her" I say even as I say it I know it is probably impossible. How can we find an immortal sorceress that could be anywhere . There is a tense silence in the room as my tears fall before a voice cuts the silence and shatters the impossibilty.

"She's burried under the Colosseum in Rome" Xalvo says quietly.

"We all look at him and Tati says " really now, and you're sure".
He smiles and I see a bit of Noah in him as I so often see myself in Uela "yes I'm sure I put her there, and if I do something I do it right"
I stand up and slam my head on Xalvos chest "please Xalvo I need him". He hugs me and says " for you Shiloh anything" I look up and I see Noah's eyes looking down at me in Xalvos face. Xalvo takes his white gloves off and his hand turns into a dogs paw and he wipes my tears off my cheeks and says "follow me Mistress". Xalvo, Uela Tatiana and I walk into the library Xalvo says " since day one ,since the very first day that he escaped hell, I've been writing day by day in each of these books that's all around you, there's one in particular book that I kept away from me it is my own thoughts, my dreams, my ideas. I also wrote where we buried Calypso.". I stop shortly before asking him "why did you guys bury her?". Xalvo says " she was out of her mind, she was always in a rage, always enthralled in her own obtuse jealousy, she was becoming a hazard to even the master let alone the world you live on."
"Jealously?" I say "yes jealousy, master and her use to be a couple". My eyes widened and I think to myself " god damn does everyone I met have some sort of relationship with my lover".
Xalvo holds up this piece of paper thats folded into fourths he says "this is the location of her body ,very confidential your eyes and the Masters only. We kept it in case we found out a way to kill her". He hands me the piece of paper. I open it and at first its blank and the black lettering starts to appear. I look up and say "
This is where she is".Xalvo says "yes and its where I'll put her back if I have my way" I head to the room I remember a secret opening Noah showed me, I think he was just trying to show off but if im being honest with myself it really worked. His armory. I smile remembering that particular moment. I press a spot on the wall where the wall seems water damaged and the wall slides open revealing weapons, some that I've never seen before with dark aura coming off of them. I put on a black holster that was hanging on a hook . I place a .500 Smith and Wesson magnum revolver in it and put on Noah's trench coat, as soon I do so energy flows into my body. I head back to the library and say to Uela and Xalvo " you guys might want to change if you had to put her in a box to stop her Xalvo then there will probably be a fight ". They say " yes Mistress ". I turn to Tati and say " is their a way we're you can change your appearance so that your grandmother doesn't notice you". She smiles as if i asked her if she knows how to spell and she says "yes its possible". She waves her hand In front of her face and her hair becomes longer and the color of it shifts to dark red her eyes become green and her skin darkens fractionally. Her clothes rain the same and untouched the whole time and she says " how's this" I smile and say "perfect". I head out to the front door. Xalvo walks out and his once styled back hair is messy he has a black long sleeve shirt on and long black cargo pants with steel toed boots, he has an old revolutionary war flintlock pistol in a holster. I laugh and say "what is that thing going to do besides look pretty?."He chuckles darkly and says "If we are unlucky enough then you'll get to see". Uela walks out of her room. She has a cut up shirt on that's laced up the arms and she has leather pants on with knee high bootsz her once straight hair is curly and half up yet still white as snow. She smiles and says "hello Mistress". I smile and say " Hi Uela, are we ready to get our asses to Rome". Everyone nods or verbally agrees in ascent and we get in the car and drive away to the airport. I feel bad about leaving Noah with no one but Joseph but I need everything I can get to bring him back.
