Chapter 18

Luke's POV

The whole day at school everyone was talking about me and Ashton, girls and some guys giving me dirty looks probably because of last night but I don't blame them. "How could you Luke?" A girl walked passed me said. "I hate you." Another snapped. "You broke Ashton's heart." She spat. I sighed and ran a hand through my hair. I went to my first class was with Ashton. We locked eyes but he quickly looked away and continued to talk with Alison.

When I went to football practice it wasn't any better I kept getting distracted and getting tackled. Football practice came to an end and the game was in two days. The coach kept yelling at me telling me to get my game up. I didn't respond and just drove home. My mum gave me a disappointed look I just went upstairs. Ashton's door was open so I peeked through and he was doing his homework like always. I didn't even deserve him. But he still loved me.

I sighed and went to my room. I looked at my pictures and seeing Ashton and I on our first date. Tears left my eye. A knock was on my door I looked and it was Ben and Jack. "Yes." I said. "Mum told me what happened with you and Ashton." Jack said. "Yeah and?" I asked. "You're such a fuck-up." Ben said. Jack hit him in the arm. "Thanks I feel so much better." I say sarcastically.

"Why'd you do it?" Jack asked. "I was drunk." I say. "Oh, well, did you at least apologize." Ben says. "Yes I did." I nod. "Are you going to get him back?" Ben asked. "I don't know, I mean why would he take me back I broke his heart?" I say. "I know that but you guys are like meant to be." Jack says. "But how would I get him back?" I asked. "We might have an idea." They smirked.

Ashton's POV

I finished doing my homework. I sighed and fell back on the bed.

Why does life hate me?

I went downstairs to get water and I saw Luke. I didn't make eye contact didn't even speak to him just got my water and went back upstairs. I looked over my shoulder to make eye contact with him and he gave me a little smile and I gave one back. "Wait Ashton!" I heard Luke yell. "Yes, Luke?" I look back. "I'm really truly sorry that I said all of those horrible things I didn't mean it, honest. I was just drunk and alcohol takes over me and says things I don't really mean but I'm really sorry Ash I really am." He said giving me a sincere look.

You better not take him back Ashton. I mean it. You'll be stupid if you do

"I forgive you Luke but you did break my heart I already got my heart broken before it doesn't feel good to go through it twice but I forgive you." I say and walk back upstairs and close my door. I look at the time and saw it was 10 I didn't want to have dinner so I brushed my teeth out Luke's clothes on that he gave me and went to bed.
