𝐉𝐔𝐃𝐄'𝐒 𝐏𝐎𝐕

I've been waiting for Ines to come get me from the airport. I landed back in Birmingham 20 minutes ago.

I sat and waited for her to arrive since she might be on her way if something got caught up.

20 minutes turned into an hour. Swiping on TikTok made time go past and there was still no sign of my Ines.

Did she forget I was coming home today?

I called for a taxi since there was still no sign of her and was starting to worry.

My taxi soon arrived and I couldn't wait to have Ines and Jeremiah in my arms.

I placed my suitcase in the boot of the taxi and quickly got in it since I couldn't wait any longer to get home.

The taxi was exiting the airport to go onto the motorway, but then taxi driver said to me "Woah look at that crash that looks pretty bad, hope whoever it is is okay."

I didn't know what he was talking about until I looked out the window.

One car crashed into the other car that was flipped over. Ambulances were everywhere as they strolled a woman on a stretcher towards the ambulance.

Wait...

The car that was flipped over looked pretty much like Ines's car.

I then seen the number plate that was familiar

1N4SX23

No...

It was Ines.

I suddenly told the taxi driver to stop.
He wouldn't listen so I made him stop by shouting "STOP THE TAXI NOW!"

He quickly says "Sorry sir I can't do that we're in the middle of a road and there's a lot going on it's not safe."

I didn't care what he said "I don't give a fuck stop the taxi now! That's my girlfriend out there."

He soon stopped the taxi and i didn't care about my suitcase in the boot.

I ran straight towards the crash.
Loads of police soon stopped me "Sorry can't enter."

I tried to push past them but it just wasn't working "That's my girlfriend she needs me."

What about Jeremiah? Please don't say he was in the car.

"Let me through I need to see her and make sure my son isn't hurt." I said.

The police then said calmly "Sir there was no little boy in the car just a female, if you have any relation to this female she'll be getting transferred to Birmingham hospital, but we can't let you through."

Fuck!

I quickly got back into the taxi and told him to go to Birmingham hospital ASAP so I got there before she did.

What felt like forever I reached to Birmingham Hospital and went straight to the receptionist.

"I need to find someone who's just got into a ambulance to here and I need to see her now" I quickly said hoping they understood what I said.

The receptionist then said "Name of patient?"

"Ines Rivers." I said. Hoping that she was already here.

The receptionist then said "We have her here, but we can't say anything as of right now as she is just at this moment getting checked over, you can stay in the waiting room if you would like?"

For fuck sake, how much longer did I have to wait.

I slowly walked away over to the waiting room hoping that she was okay.

As I sat down my phone then started to ring.

I didn't care bothering to see who it was, but hoped it was someone telling me that Jeremiah was okay.

I took my phone out of my pocket and seen it was Kiloni, I immediately answered.

"Hello?" I said.

Kiloni then says "Hey, where are you and Ines? You two should have been here like an hour ago, Jeremiah is missing you here."

I then tiredly said "Kiloni, it's Ines."

She then said in worry "Jude what do you mean?"

I then put my head down and said "She got into a car crash and turns out she's in hospital as of now, I'm in the waiting room."

Kiloni then was silent for a second to adjust what I just said.

"Jude.. your joking right? Stop playing where actually are you?" She said.

"Kiloni I'm not joking, come to Birmingham hospital and you can see for yourself that I'm here waiting for her to make sure she's okay." I told her.

She then muttered "Shit! Okay I'm on my way with Jeremiah."

The phone then ended.

I really hope that Ines was going to be okay. I need to see her.

I got Ines's mum's contact number up and tried to ring, but there was no answer.
