I missed Ines's birthday yesterday. I felt awful.
I left my phone at home, so I couldn't even message to say happy birthday.
I would of went back home for it but, I didn't want to miss the flight.
I was actually going to fly to Birmingham to see her but, my flight got delayed.
I had all of her presents with me in my suitcase ready to give to her.
I couldn't even go on my jet as it was getting fixed as one of the wheels needed more air in it.
The flight wasn't even delayed by an hour either it was about 3 hours.
We did eventually get to go on the plane when it arrived but, apparently there was someone being suspicious on the flight so they had to take us all off while they checked over the plane and arrested the passenger.
I had training today aswell so it wasn't like I had all day to travel. I finished training at about 3 and got to the airport for 5.
By the time we did take off to go to Birmingham, it was already midnight over there.
That meant that I missed her whole day.
This flight needed to hurry up so I could see her and make it up to her.
I wonder if she'll even want me there? Im not hers anymore.
The flight took about 2 and a half hours and it was now 2am in Birmingham.
When we landed I quickly got off the plane and went straight to the place where I picked my suitcase from.
I then hurriedly walked out of the airport.
I couldn't even call a taxi since I left my phone.
I then go up to some stranger who looked normal.
"Hi, is it okay if I use your phone for a second to ring a taxi?" I ask.
They then looked at me deciding if I can.
"Sure." They said.
"Thank you so much." I replied.
I then called the taxi dial and told them where I was going to.
"Your taxi is on its way." The person said on the phone.
