Okay personal note for now...I am sorry for not updating in a while but I have been mapping out slightly more where this story is headed and I have it now but I hope that you will all stick with me and continue to read because it means a lot to have people read and then enjoy my work, now on with the show!

As Alice looked around the new grassy plain that was painted before her, she finally felt like she had escaped the madhouse that was that messed up nightmare back there. She inhaled and held the fresh spring glade in her lungs then fell to the floor and let out the air. The grass was warm from the distant sun and she felt tired which was understandable from what she had been through. Her heavy eyelids began to close and she could feel her self drifting away with the warmth upon her face, looking at the sun through her closed eyelids when suddenly there was no bright light anymore but a shadow. The shadow moved around and then Alice felt something touch her leg it scratched at her tights and from a warm spring glade the sky was dark with flashing red lights. Alice quickly sat up and got her wits about her to see that the once spring glade was now a battleground with casualties happening left right and centre. She couldn't see anything near her leg and as she tried to scramble backwards she hit something.

Alice put her hand behind her to feel the object blocking her to feel it had a hard shell like exterior and she could feel a soft underbelly. "It's not nice to be so forward without asking young lady". As Alice turned her head she was shocked and a look of worry came over her face as she looked at the the tall dark figure towering about her. It came closer to inspect Alice and as it came into view it had a fluffy mane simmilar to that of a lion's but had the head and shell of a turtle. Its legs were that of a cat and it had wings like an eagle. "Don't be startled by me, in fact I would be more worried about the war that is happening in this chapter". It smiled with a grin that she had seen before but couldn't remember where. "But what happened to the spring glade?" she asked. "That part of this world was erased and in its place lie this destructive wasteland but we can't do anything about it, quickly get on my back we have to get to somewhere safe". The animal crouched down and Alice clambered on it's back and with quick haste she was soon soaring in the air above all of this mayhem.

As the two soared high above the chaos and demolition gunshots were being fired from elves and gnomes into the soft bodies of marshmallows that oozed with a jammy interior over the ground below. From the darkened clouds came a heavy shower of little blue crystals that pounded against the bloody battleground. We just have to reach that clock tower and we can make all of this stop!" Alice looked over and saw a tall tower that she hadn't done before almost like it sprung from the ground like a pop up book. As Alice looked around at the path they had flown in she could see that something was following her and as they drew nearer she could make out they were birds of some kind. "Excuse me I don't mean to be rude but we have to fly faster there is something behind us and they don't look too happy!". The creature looked around at the pursuers and screamed a battle like cry, "look just dig out some of my back and hide in it will you, if they see you are travelling with me they will shoot us down and kill us both!".

Alice could never harm an animal be it in the real world or wherever she as now, she put her nails into the beasts back and began to slowly claw at it but to her amazement she found that a block had already been cut out and placed here, she picked up the block and threw it away down below and she noticed a speed increase of the animal. The seagulls still pursued and caught up to them both but there was no sign of Alice. The seagulls inspected the large chunk missing from its back and flew off, little did they know that Alice had hung onto one of the legs of the animal.

The two neared the clock tower and they lightly touched down on top of it to find that a mysterious fellow in a suit and bowler hat stood at the very top of it on the spire. "Well look what we have us here Hatter some guests of yours I take it?".  Alice's eyes lit up at the mention of Hatter and looked up to see he had been beaten badly with his horse crushed in the corner. "Yes girl before you ask I am the one that can summon all of these things and erase others, I am the god fo this world and nobody will tell me otherwise!" Alice darted left as a large guillotine like blade began to slice down upon her head and clashed against the floor. The gentleman took a book out from his jacket and began to scribble in it and a band of wooden soldiers spawned and surrounded the animal and Alice. "My name is Francis, and it was great to meet you but it looks like we have been caught here".  Alice shook her head "it's not over until the fat lady sings or at least it's something like that". A loud valkyrian cry came from the over side of the tower and the gentleman smugly said "looks like it's over for you now!". The soldiers all marched in closer and went in to attack Alice but she froze and awaited the impact...but there was no impact the animal had stepped in front and taken the stab of the spear, it shook the soldier from the other end and launched it from the tower. The other soldiers stepped in to help but the animal was attacking back with might. "Save Hatter Alice whilst I stop these guys then we can leave!".

Alice darted towards Hatter who was now in a bundle by his horse all bloody and cut, top hat missing and most importantly so was his pride. "Hatter speak to me tell me you are okay!" he looked up "I was fighting for you to get home Alice but looks like...I was bested by another gentleman". He passed out as Alice scooped him up over her shoulder "we are ready!" The animal made a quick scarper, grabbed the two and dived from the building and narrowly avoided the gunfire of the soldiers.
