She was so tired of being told when to do this and not to do that, she loves her father but dammit she was tired of his bossy ass! She hadn't really had any reason to run before, no place to go and no one to go with her and so she stayed put and sucked it up. She has spent twenty seven years on this ship, getting the chance only recently to finally get some free time and go out and search for artifacts for her dad. It was like this all of the time, she'd have even the slightest mess up and she was locked in her room on the ship for weeks.
"Stupid. . .ugh" she muttered ready to punch a hole through the side of the ship she was so frustrated. She remembered the last time it was like this and she hated it just as much then, she was twenty-seven! No child but she still listened to her father, still obeyed his rules because, after-all, this was his ship.
"Looks like someone made daddy mad" that voice?! There was no way he was. . .By god he was!
"Peter Quill" she whispered exasperated from the sudden realization.
"The one and only and it looks to me like you need some air, bein' locked up's no fun." he laughed "I'd know, anyways why's he got ya locked up anyways?"
"You know how he is, Peter, or do I have to remind you of the last time you made him mad?" she walked with him past a sleeping 'guard' before hopping off of her fathers ship and into his.
"No thanks, so you ready?" she looked around at the others, grinning from ear to ear.
"So ready, where are we going?" she whispered placing her arms around his neck from behind making him clear his throat before speaking.
"Do some good, maybe a little bad, you up for it?" she chuckled
"As long as I'm gone, I don't care where we go or what we do!" she kissed his cheek before sitting next to Drax who eye'd her like she had three heads. Sure they were going to get into some serious shit with her father once he found out but right now, all she cared about was getting away because that's all she's ever wanted to do.
