I ran across buildings, gliding through the air to the next. The cool fingers of dawn wrapped themselves around my slender figure, making me shiver. I jumped swiftly landing on a skyscraper over looking the city. I sat down, my legs dangling over the edge.

"So your on the run, at the top of everyones 'most wanted' list, sounds familiar." The graceful voice chuckled from behind me. I stiffened as I hadn't noticed her presence.

"Aren't we all?" I replied looking out into the city of New York ahead of me.

"Yea, it's a full time job." She chuckled, sitting down beside me, replicating my figure.

"It's a good distraction." I nodded, a weak smile curved at my lips.

"Ha, look at that you still remember how to truly smile, even after all these years." She gave me a playful shove, as I shook my head biting back a laugh.

"It's a pleasure to finally met you, Nightingale." I smiled craning my head to look at her.

"Right back at ya, NightHaze." She replied staring off into the awakening city.

"Please, we all know its not a pleasure meeting me." I muttered, shrugging.

"Don't be so hard on yourself." She patted my back reassuringly as the air around us was silent.

"News is traveling that you have a soft spot for poor old Captain America, what's he gotten himself into." I chuckled, shaking my head.

"You mean, what I've gotten myself into." She held a hand to her heart, laughing.

"Captain won't be used to all the lady attention especially after Peggy." Her body stiffened slightly at the mention if her name.

"I just hope I'm good enough, like I don't want him to compare me to her in anyway, ugh I sound so girly and sappy." She sighed burring her face in her hands.
I looked at her, realising I wasn't just the only one with 'problems.'

"Just remember sisters before misters." I chuckled slightly, fist bumping her. She laughed returning the gesture.

"Classy and a little bit nasty, ya know what I like you already." she patted my shoulder as I smiled in true happiness.

"Good, because I was not planning on getting on your bad side." We both laughed, enjoying each others company as we gazed out into the city.

"I always wanted to met you, you were an inspiration. Now look at us both assassins, one demi-god and one infinity stone, just, talking. And let me tell you I don't actually open up and talk to many people." I admitted looking down at my feet.

I don't know why, but I trusted her, and I don't trust just anyone.

Nightingale smiled,
"High-five for girl power." I didn't hesitate as I slapped her hand proudly high in the air.

"Anyway NightHaze the suns rising as the darkness crawls into the shadows for yet a another day. So I better get going. It was nice to met ya, hope I'll be seeing you again soon sometime." she stood up standing strongly as her hair blew in the wind tangling upon itself.

"Yea maybe." I replied feeling slightly disappointed about her departure. She made me forget about the world, my problems even if it was just for those few short minutes. She made me feel like a normal 24 year old human being.

And with that she gave me a mocking salute as she jumped, disappearing into the dawn of a new day.
