everyone around knew theo was a absolute flirt. any girl that caught his eye was given a smooth line, even if he didn't even want to particularly pursue her. though, you were different.slightly.

you and theo had been close friends since your early days in hogwarts and he was always defending you- even when you didn't want him to. you couldn't remember how many guys were scared off due to the mere fact of his brooding eyes on theirs. however that changed when you got with your boyfriend sebastian.

theo was annoyed when you first told him the news, telling you he wasn't good enough and that he'd just end up hurting or using you; that made you two stop talking for a few weeks.
your relationship began to blossom and theo grew restless. he cringed anytime he saw sebastian even look at you, let alone lay his filthy hands on your precious skin. he loathed him. he hated the thought of you being someone else's. you were supposed to be his.

it had been a few weeks since you and theo last spoke and you were standing in the courtyard talking with sebastian and pansy, as you were speaking someone suddenly walked behind you and wrapped their arms around your waist, their head turning to whisper in your ear; "miss me y/n?" you recognized that voice, and the low chuckle that came after it. sebastian's jaw clenched at the sight of theo's hands on your body.

"what's your problem mate" sebastian scoffed. you turned around and pulled away from theo rolling your eyes playfully at him. theo smirked and looked over at sebastian smugly, "relax, never heard of a hug..mate". it was a simple jab but nonetheless made your boyfriend livid, he already disliked theo for saying he wasn't worth it and now this. he glared at you and tilted his head as he walked away, wanting you to follow. you groaned and glared at theo, reluctantly following sebastian.

theo watched you follow him, a smug look still on his face. pansy who was watching the entire interaction with amusement raised her eyebrow at theo "someone's jealous, and i don't mean her boyfriend" she snickered. theo rolled his eyes and crossed his arms "yeah right, we're just friends". she laughed and hummed "because you're stuck in the friend zone", he scoffed and walked away, making pansy giggle
triumphantly knowing she was right.

you followed sebastian to his dorm and he closed it behind you, scoffing "why the hell are you friends with that prick". you sighed and looked at him "look i get he can be a bit much but he's been a good friend for years seb". sebastian rolled his eyes at your plea and looked at you like you were insane "he fucking tries to act like your boyfriend y/n, you surly can't be that dumb", you scoffed at his accusation and crossed your arms in annoyance "i haven't even spoken to him in weeks because of you!". sebastian laughed dryly at your words,"right, because of me. not because he said i was a bad guy", you sighed and shook your head, "you know i didn't mean it like that"

his jaw clenched and he held his temples, taking a deep breath before stepping away from his door "i need a minute to think,can you leave". you were certainly caught off guard trom his nonchalant dismissal and you didn't say anything, slowly walking out of his dorm and going to the slytherin common room. you plopped onto the leather couch in front of the fireplace and let yourself sink in, staring at the red flames and trying to just disassociate. the seat next to you sunk in and you lazily turned your head to see who it was, seeing theo, you sighed and looked at him directly "you did that on purpose", he held a smirk before he fully looked over at you and noticed your glum expression his face softening slightly. "did you two break up or something?" he looked concerned but in his head he was hoping you'd say yes. "no, well..i don't know" you sighed and sat back against the couch

theo hummed, trying to figure out what that meant, his arm instinctively wrapping around your shoulder. you didn't move you just let him rest it there, he'd always been there for you before and he was here now. as you turned your head to speak to theo there was a loud scoff from behind you. "are you serious. you can't even be left alone for one bloody minute before crawling back to him?" sebastian's voice was filled with anger and directed towards you.
