All of the other girls have left, and Chloe is leaving now. Before she leaves, she gives me a hug and says, "I'm sorry they were so mean, Luce." I just shrug and she heads out the door. I don't know what to think anymore. Chloe, Allie, and May could've at least stuck up for me a bit. I had to fight them myself, and that kinda hurts my feelings. But now I have to face Megan, Annie, and Clarice in two days at school and I'm worried. They were my best friends and now they've turned against me! What kind of best friends do that?
