Chapter 21: together

Chapter 21 is here~ I don't own cardfight vanguard~ actually I do, but that's only when I'm asleep....

Jades lit up happily when the brunette noticed the happy smile that was gracing the younger's lips.

"It's just snow Aichi"

The brunette sighed as he watched the blue haired boy catch a few flakes in his hands before watching them melt.

"I know, but it's rare for it to snow at this time of the year"

The blue haired boy replied softly.

"True, but we should hurry back before you catch a cold, we don't need you getting sick"

Kai said as he nudged the boy to walk a little faster, the younger nodded in agreement, for he didn't want to go home just so that he could lay in bed sick like before.

"I hope mom hasn't cooked us something to eat"

The young boy whispered after they had safely crossed the street making sure to look both ways of course.

"Don't worry, she's smart enough to have realized that we've already eaten by not at this late hour"

The brunette replied softly, loving how considerate the young boy was of other people.

"True..... Ah"

Aichi tripped on the sidewalk, thankfully however, the brunette fought him before he hit the ground.

"Ah thank you!"

The blue haired boy replied with an embarrassed blush.

"It's fine, it gave me an excuse to touch you after all"

"Wait what?"

"Nothing....."

The brunette mused, enjoying the flustered expression that was etched onto the younger boy's face.

"Kai when we get back, can we go straight to sleep?"

The blue haired boy asked softly, jades looked towards the boy in confusion for it was an odd request, especially since the boy didn't seem to be tired at all.

"Anything you want is fine Aichi"

The brunette replied, as he ruffled the boy's soft blue locks, the way the streetlights refracted off of the lapis frames and glowed off of sapphires was brilliant, the brunette loved how much life seemed to be bristling within those sapphires.

"Kai, I'm curious about something......"

The brunette raised a brow at the younger's comment.

"Curious about what?"

Sapphires flickered towards the ground for a few moments before a light blush tinged the boy's face.

"You never spend any time at your apartment anymore....... Yet you're still paying the rent there right?....."

The brunette nodded at this, not seeing where the conversation was headed.

"True now that you mention it"

"My mom adores you..... And Emi doesn't seem to mind you either...."

The young boy trailed off.

"Just tell me what you're trying to ask, anything is fine"

The brunette sighed when he realized how unsure the younger boy was.

"Well my house has two spare rooms........ So I was wondering...... If you could....... You know...... Live with me?...."

Jades widened in surprise at the young boy's comment, he was happy, truly happy. he hadn't expected the question yet it still made him thankful.

Thankful that he was cared about so deeply by the young blue haired boy.

"I'd love to, if your mom would allow me"

A soft smile graced the younger boy's lips as he hugged the older teen.

"She will, I've already asked her earlier..... She said that she'd love for you to move in if you wanted to, after all, it must have been lonely in your apartment all alone"

The younger whispered, the brunette patted the younger's head, a soft smile hidden by the night was lingering on his lips. For he hasn't realized just how lonely it was until he met Aichi and had gotten to know the caring atmosphere of the Sendou residence. It was the young boy's fault that he wasn't okay with staying alone anymore like he had once been.

"Then I guess I'm officially part of the household now"

The brunette replied gently as he placed a soft kiss upon the smaller boy's lips, with that the two teens continued their way back towards the Sendou residence.

"We're home"

Aichi called as they both stepped through the doorway and removed their shoes before proceeding to the living room.

"Ah welcome home Aichi, Kai"

The cyan haired mother chirped as she launched a hug towards her son.

"Mom I can't breathe...."

Aichi whined as he made his way out of his mother's grip.

"I'm sorry, it's just so nice to have both of my sons back here!"

Shizuka laughed, the brunette felt a little happy by her words, for they were proof that he was considered part of the Sendou family.

"How does it feel to be out of the hospital Aichi?"

Emi asked as she came down the stairs to greet the two teens.

"It feels amazing! I was getting sick of all the nurses fussing over me"

A light blush tinged Shizuka's face.

"Aww but a bunch of cute girls fussing over you is one of the common dreams of a healthy adolescent boy!"

The cyan haired mother giggled.

"Mom you know I'm not into that kind of thing!"

Aichi blushed as he hung into the brunette's arm.

Cyan orbs gleamed as they checked out the adorable scene of her cute little son clinging on to a hot boy.

"Sure sure, I already know that you prefer having a stick in you than putting a stick in someone"

Aichi's face went red as the boy grabbed the brunette and quickly pulled him upstairs to his room to escape from his mother's teasing.

"I'm sorry about the things my mom said....."

The blue haired boy sighed as both teens sat on the floor, jades glinted in amusement at how flustered his love had gotten just from simple teasing.

"It's fine, the way you reacted made you look really cute"

The brunette replied, causing the younger's blush to deepen considerably.

"It's not my fault......"

The brunette smirked as he wrapped his arms around the young boy and held him.

"I know, but that's what makes it even more adorable...,"

"I'm a guy you know......."

"Won't stop me from thinking that you're cute"

The brunette whispered softly into the young boy's ear.

"I'm tired can we sleep?"

Aichi whispered softly.

Me: that's the end of the story.... JK there's still a few more things that I need to do hehe ^-^

Miwa: *rubs hands together* can't wait!

Me: it's gonna be hard to write the next part but I'll try.....

Miwa: you better!

Me: I'll go all out to have a satisfying end!
