Chapter 11

Whoa.

The most beautiful silver light shined down from above. A warm breeze ruffled my hair. 

That's the one.

"I believe we have found your wand miss." Loise smiled. "That'll be seven Galleons."

I pulled the coin sack I had owled from Gringot's out of my purse and counted out seven Galleons.

"Thank you miss. It was a pleasure." Loise bowed and stepped back into the shelves.

"Thank you!" I called after her. I turned to Lacie, "Right, I'll mind call Severus. Let's go." we stepped out into the cold.

Severus?

Yes? Are you alright? Is something wrong?

No, no. We're fine. I got my wand. Where do you want us to meet you?

Honeydukes. I'll be with you in just a few moments. 

Okay. See you in a bit.

Okay.

"He says we should meet him at Honeydukes." I said to Lacie.

"Cool. Let's go." she looped her arm through mine and we set off. I tucked my wand up my sleeve as we walked.

"So what's your favorite sweet?" I asked as we approached the door.

"I like fruity stuff." she said.

"Personally, I like chocolate. Like seriously, way too much."

"I know." she looked at me, "You forget, I know you better than you do."

"Oh yeah... When do you think my memories will come back?" my voice sounded shakier than I intended.

"Soon, Ally. Soon."

They were greeted by the smell of sugar and sticky and rich when they walked through the door.

"Oh my goodness." I heard Lacie say. Here eyes were the size of saucers.

"Yeah." I was slightly awed by the sight as well. The store looked like a rainbow. There were so many sweets, I couldn't count them. "Whoa."

"You seem a bit awed." I heard a deep voice behind me.

"Severus." I said, turning around.

"Of course."

I giggled, suddenly feeling young. "Wanna shop for sweets with us?" I waggled my bows. 

"I'd love too."

We shopped for about half and hour before we headed out again. 

"Lacie, would you mind letting me speak to Allyson? Alone?" Severus asked suddenly as we walked back to the castle.

She looked between Severus and I, eyes wide.

"Uh, yeah. Sure. I'll just meet you guys at the castle then." She walked away and after a few steps, did a full out sprint back to the castle.

"Severus, wha-"

He cut me off with a gloved finger to my lips.

"I got you something." he said, reaching into his pocket.

"Oh, you really don't need to give me anything. I-"
