A Wizard in my Room (Book One of The Wizard series)

Chapter 2

"Severus? Severus, everything is going to be alright now. The memories will work. Do you want to see the rest of the war? Do you want to see how it ends?"

"I- I only want to see how it ends."

"Okay." Allyson said thinking, did Severus Snape just stutter!? she fast forwarded to the scene where Harry jumps out of Hagrid's arms and pressed play.

Severus watched the scene play out. His eyes widened when Voldemort turned to ash. She stopped the film and looked at Severus.

"See, the Light won, because of you, Severus. You saved the Wizarding world! Not only that, but the muggle world too!"

"Why did Potter jump out of Hagrid's arms?" Severus questioned.

"Because- because he was dead, he came back to life."

"He came back to life?"

"Yes, with the horcrux dead, he was able to continue living. He became the master of death. He was master of the cloak, wand and stone." She explained.

"Hmh. What were all the horcruxes?"

"Well, you know of the ring, the book and the boy yes?"

"Correct. Again." he added, sounding annoyed.

She ignored that last bit.

"Other than that, there was Salazar Slytherin's locket, Helga HufflePuff's cup, the Lost Diadem of Ravenclaw, and his snake, Nagini."

"And Potter destroys them all?"

"Yes."  

"Good."

There was a moment of silence.

"Now, do you have any more questions?"

"How do you know so much about me? How did I get here? And what is that irritating scratching noise?"

"The films i just showed you, I have eight, they follow Harry through his life at Hogwarts. I am still not sure how you got here, I have a hunch though. And my dog is scratching my door." I explained.

"So the... films are like a pensieve?" he asked.

"Um... Kind of?" Allyson replied hesitantly.

"Where did you get the films?"

"I bought them. "

"Where?" Severus asked

"Here and there, Fred Meyer's mostly."

"What is 'Fred Meyer's'?"

"They sell food, clothes, children's toys, electronic devices, beauty products, jewelry, among other things." I explained.

"Oh."

"Hey, are you hungry?"

"A bit." Severus admitted.

"I don't have anything fancy, but what do you like?"

"What do you have?"

"I have some chicken and mashed potatoes you can heat up, or I have a piece of pie I can get you."

"Chicken and potatoes will be fine."

"Alright, I'll go get them, don't leave the room." Allyson left to get the food which left Severus sitting alone. He rose and looked around the room. She had many trinkets, he decided his favorite was a glass dragon.

She crept back into her room with 2 big pieces of chicken and a large pile of mashed potatoes and gravy on the side.

"You'll have to warm it." she said handing him the tray.
